Completely disagree with this, more weight adds absolutely no value nor aesthetic to the statue display. It only stresses out your shelves more, make (re)packaging and moving more difficult, and cost a ton of $$ more to ship.

Sideshow should provide an option for all those people who demand heavy statues, by sending them an optional lead brick they can put under the base to make the statue heavier and those dorks happy.

I like my statues to have some heft to them. It's hard to explain, but it makes it feel more like a museum piece to me if it's heavy. That being said, I already ordered this from a retailer and payed a substantial deposit on it, so I'll be keeping my order.

I copy loud and clear Bodie.

However, unless you have a Delorean parked in your garage (or a Tardis if you are British) the days of heavier/sturdier pieces that exuded quality right out of the box for $300 are over. I for one don't associate weight with quality. There are plenty of heavy pieces that suck but I see your point.

I am not saying that is not possible to be "wowed" anymore, but the price-value proposition has certainly changed with Sideshow. At $700 the margin for error should be less and there should be no doubt that it was money well spent.

Now, how did the manage to misspell "Limited"...

Emailed them last week and got a reply basically saying they expect to get them in this week and will ship them ASAP.

So far nothing yet (for myself and also a friend who ordered it through them), so we shall see.

I emailed them too and got the same response, that it's in stock and will ship very soon (maybe this week) Also got charged!

AP has already charged me, and just put up a post on Facebook saying that they have an extra in stock and ready to ship due to cancellations. I think there's a good chance they'll ship tomorrow.

If you drop them on the floor chances are they will both break. But there is something about having that heft.

That sucks man! I am still waiting to hear from SS in regards to the teeth problem on mine. However SS has always treated me well in the past when there has been an issue.

Its here and it is a MONSTER. Ive taken some shots alongside my pf Hulk. I have to tell you, I LOVE my pf hulk but this new piece is just staggeringly perfect. Both work out to be just over 7 foot in scale. Paint is gorgeous and a perfect colour. This insane Hulk fan is blown away. Done and done.

100% agree.... Hulk PF and Doom PF would both break the floor.
