:lol

I can't wait some day to have kids and sit back and watch as their childhood is raped. Maybe I'll invite Dave and his kids over and we'll have some drinks while we watch. Ahhhh, good times.

:D

That'll be a beautiful scene, the two of you sipping hard liquor and surrounded by collectibles that have overrun your homes :monkey2:monkey2

Hi guys. I found this small interview with George Lucas recently on www.tvguide.com. Here's the link:

https://www.tvguide.com/news/george-lucas-maverick/070918-01

He mostly talks to TV Guide about being a "maverick" filmmaker like his close friend director Francis Ford Coppola, and Pixar's John Lassiter filming from locations outside of Hollywood like San Francisco, and other areas like that. He does give a little insider info on Indy 4 towards the end of the small interview. Enjoy! :D

Thanks for posting the link JediMike. Not much reveled there, but I like some of the details on Connery not wanting to reprise his role and how they compensated for it.
There was some Major spoilers posted on AICN the other day that were taken down. If anyone is interested, I saved what was said.
Basically, they explained some of the plot.
I was indifferent to what was said of the plot, it seemed to fit in a Indy movie, but I really didn't like the confirmation of a certain character rumor. Though, you'd have to be blind not to see that it was going to be true.

Well, screamingmetal, I don't wanna spoil the plot of the movie for myself now. I'm looking forward to this movie SO much I want to go into the theater next summer without any information about the plot...other than the title that we all know now. I spoiled the plot for other movies before I saw them, and ended up not enjoying them as much since I already knew what was going to happen before seeing the movie. Thanks anyway. :D

I thought they could have done better than this, imho:

Awesome is right Trev. :D Thanks so much Bro, you nailed it.

Maybe someone can do an iso shot and blow it up so we can see it a bit better but it may be a bit out of focus.

Man, Trevor I hope you sculpt Han Solo as well.....that Ford likeness is incredible.

Wow, that sculpt looks fantastic painted up! Man I hope Sideshow nails this figure... he could go down as being one of the greats if they do it right :rock

I agree that is a big "IF"....if they do it right. Hopefully they will. I am hoping that Sideshow does a much better job on Indy's likeness than they did for the Bespin Han Solo. That is my favorite Han Solo outfit, but the head wasn't that great.

Bespin Han was passable, but if Trev gets a shot at an ANH/Hoth/Endor Han, I can see a lot of us replacing the head on our Bespin versions!

Or we could just use his Indy head...

As for the quality, the sculpt is amazing and even if a factory paintjob screws it up I'm sure tons of these will be sent out for repaints. Not only that but I have great Relic Hunter parts, like a diecast gun, machete, shoes with laces, nicely done jacket that will readily replace anything SSC gives that isn't up to snuff.....I have no doubts that the Indy I buy will be the centerpiece of my 1/6 collection.

For those that don't own a Relic Hunter or his shoes, the New Line 1930's Civilian Boots will do just nicely to replace Sideshow's plastic boots:

The newline boots look great and are a lot more accurate than the Relic Hunter or Toys McCoy boots.
