So NO ONE else is excited about a fully-articulated 7" Indiana Jones figure?

Yep, I'm all about the 1/6. Also the Disney made figures are real hit and miss. The Narnia were quite nice... but the POTC, not so much.

The previous Disney INDY figures were pretty ho-hum as well.

Like Josh, I'm excited about what Sideshow has in store for this license, but not much else (including Hasbro and Gentle Giant).

Yeah, the GG pieces didn't impress me much at all. Hasbro's stuff was ok for what it is a mass produced item. SS stuff though is going to kick ass and for me anytime my Mom says you have to get stuff from a line I'm in. :rock

Well, NO **** Sideshow's stuff is gonna be where it's at, but that doesn't mean all of the other Indy stuff is gonna be crap either. Lighten up! '08 is gonna be the year of Indy (and Batman and Iron Man and James Bond and The Incredible Hulk and Rambo,) so there will be plenty of cool IJ merchnadise for everybody! :chew:chew:chew

I just don't collect smaller scale stuff anymore. I don't have any room for anything smaller than 1:6th scale, it just clutters things up IMO. I'm sure the new Indy stuff will be cool, but I can understand how people are not really getting amped up about it.

Around here it's all about the 12 inch figs and the statues. :rock

Well................let's see a sculpt or something already !

I read on RS that the Indiana Jones lego sets are beginning to show up in stores, specifically the motorcycle chase from Last Crusade. Anyone find it yet?

He's lookin' a lot better in these proper pictures, especially the publicity still.

I still have to get used to his age. I know it's natural and all, but he's so ingrained in my head from 1981 it's hard to accept the older Indy.
