The Indy Acquisitions ("Look What I Found") Thread

Which ones did you get? The SA Indys (with the jackets) or the action-feature ones (sans jacket)? There are 2 standard Indy figures from each film.

I'm preferring the SA figures, myself.

SA's, after Attack of the Clones, I'm really not a fan of when Hasbro puts "action" into collectible figures. I know there actually are some kids that have these to play with like we did back in the day, which was a Wednesday, but the majority of SW figure purchases I'd guess go to teenagers and older who collect, and I imagine same will go for Indy.

I cleaned out the TRU that we popped into after our OBGYN appointment (8 days until "D" Day---- Day of Delivery)... EVERY ROTLA single figure, every double pack (except the one with Marion and the henchman-- same Marion so I didn't bother), and every deluxe one. I left the 1/6 stuff as it was all pretty much bleeah. But it was that nostalgic feeling of opening up those Indy figs and putting them up on a shelf that made the heart glow. Yes, they're 180 degrees from what the majority of us collect now, but it was still nice to see something in that size (and price range) from such a beloved property (and getting on for 30 years old and all).

Went to Wal Mart and they were pretty well stocked on Indy figures... I just picked up the ROTLA Indy and left it at that. Fun figure, but I wish they'd left off his holster or made it smaller. Kinda ruins the overall look of the figure.

My Walmart finally put these out today. Got the 12" Indys.

They had every figure except Marion so I picked up one of the KotCS Indys which completes my Hasbro shopping I think though I may pick up a couple more 12"ers to get the Ark.

I saw Indy with the horse today, and one other delux Indy with something to ride, don't remember.

So will all the Indy figures have the same headsculpt... its a bit weak compared to some of the work Hasbro did on SW. Surprised they didn't steal a head from one of the Solo VOTC figures.

was also gonna get the 12" Indy with whip action but decided against it for now...mainly cause the head and hat are one piece.
