Here's my comment on the Sideshow site:
I’m in and can’t wait to get this one in hand. But I have to agree on the sculpt. The Han Solo PF was disappointing. The prototype photo on the box was great and I sure would have loved to own one of those, but the mass produced product really missed the mark. To tell you the truth, when I took it out of the box I was really disappointed. I hope this one delivers.

I was a big fan of the Obi Wan also. Do you think they will make a PF of Obi Wan from EP III? Would you be interested in it? Are you going to buy the PF Anakin? Too many questions? I'll stop.

Personally, Im limiting myself to EPIV-VI PFs only (it helps my wallet :monkey1) - well in the Star Wars line at least
I feel like an EpI Obiwan is far more likely in the near future (to go with Maul).

I'll have to see the whole thing before I decide but I'm close to ordering this. It will be my first PF too (ordered Doom and cancelled him).

I'm really curious but since I've already ordered the Medicom and the SSC this has to be amazing for me to get a third high-priced Indy.

If you thought those 12" were high-priced, just wait till you see this price tag. I'm guessing around $349

$349 seems about right to me too. I just hope the exclusive is something cooler than the torch and dart the 12" comes with.

I'm gonna guess $275... seems to be what the human style figures go for. While the license is more expensive, I don't think the outfit is vastly more complicated than the recent Wayne PF.

I think you're forgetting jacket and hat (way more complicated than any Star Wars PF - especially if done with leather and a real fabric hat). Along with the licensing cost its going to make this baby expensive...

EDIT - sorry that wasn't clear --- you can only compare this to SW since the licensing costs will be similar

I would be very surprised if this was $275. My guess is minimum $300, but more like $350.

I didn't realize that Anakin was $300... so I guess he could be that much. But again, Wayne has a leather Jacket and googles, so I think there are some similarities there in terms of complexity.

I'm still gonna guess $275, but its okay since I'm not getting him anyway :lol

I agree with those who say around the $350 range. I figure Sideshow knows it has a hit on it's hands and is going to charge accordingly.

I am also going to guess around $325-350. Bot not because Sideshow just thinks they can get away with it--I think that the licensing costs, quality of the figure and materials used, R&D, etc. will all work together to justify the price.

Absolutely :lecture

Ok, so Ill ask the next obvious question...

Do the Indy PF's go up in value on the secondary market (a la MARVEL) or are they going to fare closer to STAR WARS PFs?

Somebody had to ask it

I'd agree with that. Its dealing with LFL so ya know that will help the cost be high.
