I'm so excited! Sideshow keeps ramping up the anticipation with these hints and such, it's killing me.

Well, Trev if this Indy is anything like the 1:6th or the sketch card I have then this is simply a can't miss item. The haters should be a very small group that can easily be drowned out by those that will love this piece. I hope it goes up next week so I can jump on and snag one.

my memory is that there was a video that was shown on youtube that was talking about sideshow collectibles. in it, one of the sculptors was putting the finishing touches on the idol and mentioned that it was for the PF exclusive.

but my memory is vague, and i can't find the video now. someone posted it on the boards a while back.

oh, and by the way, the preview looks awesome!!!!!!!

I wonder if SS will do a Temple of Doom Indy PF. For some reason I might actually prefer to have a TOD PF of him with a torn sleeve and holding a machete.

I hope you guys like the portrait when it's shown. It's a very subjective thing, so I'm expecting mixed reactions. So far this piece looks like it's going to be every bit as successful as I had hoped! *fingers crossed*

ToD has a special place in my heart as I remember seeing that one while we were living in Europe and even though it's very different than RAIDERS I've always really loved it to the point of almost putting it at the same level.

From what is revealed so far, it looks fantastic..all the way down to the stitching and slight weathering of the jacket. I know I'm going to love this piece, tribute or scene specific...doesn't matter. It's my most anticipated PF of the year. My favorite movie character represented in my favorite collectibles line. Honestly, it's like a dream come true.

Please, please Sideshow, put this up for pre-order next week.

Maybe when they say the details will be revealed soon, they mean that they'll actually be putting pictures and stuff in the production blog soon, before the preorder next week (if it is next week).

I'll have to see the whole thing before I decide but I'm close to ordering this. It will be my first PF too (ordered Doom and cancelled him).

I'm really curious but since I've already ordered the Medicom and the SSC this has to be amazing for me to get a third high-priced Indy.

I doubt it will hit the newsstands this weekend (though I suppose a few stores may sporadically get it in and put it out early). The Wizard publications are usually pretty solid on debuting on a specific Wednesday each month at comic shops first.

HOWEVER... subscribers' copies are usually mailed in advance so that we receive them around the same date. Often that means they come in a few days early. So chances are someone will get their copy in the mail soon (perhaps as early as today or tomorrow) and scans will appear online.

In other words, I'd be pretty surprised if we have to wait until Wednesday to see this. I'll definitely be checking my mailbox for it between now and Wednesday.

Yeah, I don't figure to find it this weekend but I may still stop in Border to check.

If the PF looks especially awesome, I may drop the 1/6 and make the PF my only INDY piece.

It used to be that you could get 5-6 12" for the price of a PF, so I'd go the 12" route.

Things have changes and owning 1 PF might be more desirable than the 4 12"s you can get these days.
