Excellent work Greggo. When you do these (or anyone does these) do you paint over the existing paint or remove it somehow? My new ROTLA Indy is of course a little dark, but it's not really bothering me.

The hand that holds the idol has a small line...looks like in the paint, like a crack, but not a crack if that makes sense. Do you know how paint "cracks" happen?

Also, on the exclusive portrait there is one dot on the hair of missing paint. It's weird.

Thank you buddy! I removed the paint first just so more detail come out when painting it! I find if I paint over paint detail starts to get lost!

Paint cracks are usally due to very thick paint and it can never set aswell as thin washes. People think they can paint over paint with thick paint to hide brush marks or mistakes this can also cause cracking :(

it's just a tiny little crack in the flat portion of his hand for the idol. Not too noticeable. So you think it's more likely a crack in the paint than in the polystone?

From what you said I would say, it could be the paint! But I would have to see it! I don't think you would even see a crack in the ploystone as the paint is very thick! There is a White coat of paint first, followed by the skin tones and then the detail :)

It is hairline only from one angle. It's only noticeable from very very very close observation. That's why I am thinking it is paint crack as it's on the molded folds of skin of the flat surface of the hand.

Now all I need is a micro-scopic dot of the hair paint for the ex head where it's missing a tiny dot. Yep, I'm an*l rententive. lol

I received the awesome bag and strap from Mfisher last week and was very happy to finally be able to upgrade from the factory version to Mike's far superior and accurate one. My friend Martin-El also added shoe cream to the "green" jacket and I'm happy to say that my PF FINALLY has an accurate dark brown jacket now. :clap

Here's a pic showing the factory bag (and green jacket) on the left and the Mfisher bag and BROWN jacket on the right!

What exactly did you use to stain the jacket brown, and was it difficult to do?

Also has it had any detrimental effects on the jacket material at all?

I've been wanting to recolour the jacket since I got mine way back when, but I don't want to do something that might screw it up, so any helps or tips would be mightily appreciated, as yours looks great.

Thanks.

Anyone notice this little tidbit?

I have enjoyed collecting the Indiana Jones Premium Formats all have been excellent. I am wondering what SS has in mind for Last Crusade in the Premium Format realm? An Indy no doubt, but will we see Henry Jones Senior??? Connery being as large an icon of cinema as Ford, I would love to be able to display these two Premium Formats together some time in the future!

Very good question. We cannot confirm or deny our future Indiana Jones PF plans, so we’ll have to march the question in to our design and development team and seek answers. Stay tuned…

:dunno I hope this is an innocent comment and not an early indicator of the end of the PF line - the last three have been stellar.

I would be VERY surprised if they don't eventually add TLC Indy and Henry Sr. to the IJ PF line...I'm definitely anxious to get those guys for the display too! :rock

I'd be down for a 'Castle Brunwald' Indy, with gray shirt, tie, and german machine gun, taken from the scene where he guns down the german troops in front of his father.

I'd also be down with a Henry Jones sr as well.

Give me those two PF's and I'm pretty well done, as far as Indy related pf's go. Though a 'white suit' Indy from the opening scene in Temple of Doom would be nice as well.

I mean I'm hard core enough of a fan that I'd buy Short Round, Marion (from the bar scene in Raiders), young Indy (Pheonix), hell, even Sallah, Brody, Spalko, and Willie, but I can't see any liklihood of any of them ever being made, realistically speaking.

I do hope we haven't seen the end of the Indiana Jones PF line just yet though...mind you Mola Ram and ToD Indy both still being in stock probably doesn't bode well...

So, last night I am looking over across the room at my prized ROTLA Indy PF EX, towering over TOD Indy PF EX and making Jack Sparrow PF EX look like a little girl and I was thinking...why couldn't they have made a PF Marion, or PF Belloq or even a PF Sallah? They made a PF Mola Ram (very underrated in my opinion) to match with the TOD Indy. Now as to LC Indy PF, I think they are confront with a challenge as it was like ROTLA where Indy had the leather jacket on most of the movie. So they have to innovate and make a great pose and the most iconic pose I can think of from LC are when he is hanging out the window with his whip flying upward to go rescue his father. Now there are plenty of diorama ideas: 1) Indy and the girl in the boat attacking the other boat; 2) Indy and his father in the German motorcycle being followed; 3) Indy and his father in the plane; and 4) Indy hanging off the side of the tank. I can't even think about what the pose (besides the one I mentioned) could be for PF LC Indy or what the EX would be.

Well, I was pretty disappointed to read that latest comment, which, BTW, is the only Indy news we've received from the Q&As since Oct. I certainly hope that if they are planning on doing any PFs from TLC that they are further along than just the development stage. But why do I have a sinking feeling that they'll drop the PF line without completing the series? I would def. be down for Indy and Henry Sr. I would also welcome a Belloq.

It seems to me that the props and PFs are the only thing keeping the license going. We haven't heard anything regarding dios since the ToD piece. I wouldn't be surprised if that line is dead.

Actually the Indy PF is how I stumbled across Sideshow and got interested. Would hate for it to end.

Indy and dad on the bike and sidecar PF. It would be massive and cost an arm and a leg but I'd sell off some grails to buy it! Doubt it would happen though :(

This is a response I got...so it's not certain either way...

"Right now I am unsure if we are currently working on any additional Indy items. I know they all sold really well and the fan base is strong. I would recommend that you join our newsletters and watch our facebook pages to stay up to date on all product information. "

:dunno What else do you need to work on future products?! At first I was really skeptical that LF licensing could really have any impact on Sideshows decision to make Indy items, but now I really can't think of anything else that makes sense. It seems to me that Sideshow has really slowed down lately - the newsletters are really short. I remember only two years ago it felt like the newsletters were huge and on Thursdays you'd be flooded by new product.

I'd say if you are going to make one last PF to round out the series and go out with a bang, that would be the one to make. I'd buy it. If Sideshow can make a RWoS and Sauron PF, then they can make this.

Yeah, I get the feeling with PF's not selling out they are downsizing. The ToD Indy PF EX is still available as is the EX Mola Ram, as is the Indy vs. Mola Ram diorama. If those were sold out, I'd think they were fools not to be announcing the next Indy collectibles... Hot Toys certainly isn't slowing down with that new Indy coming out.
