Its not meant literally! but even if he's not in a tux in casino royale (but what else would bond wear to a Casino!!!!) I'm sure it will happen in one of the movies to come.
:lol I didn't think you meant it literally, I'm just a little irked that he won't. I mean it'd be one thing if the movie didn't call for it, but like you said what's he gonna wear in the casino?

Where did this rumor come from? No tux? That's crazy. Its BOND! He has to wear a tux in one scene, especially when a new guy is breaking into the role. No tux. Sheesh. That's like INDY not wearing his hat.

Looks like a tux to me...

I'd love to see Lazenby in the kilt and Moore in the Commander's uniform. But if these are non-movie specific, perhaps we should look to the posters. Moore was always in a tux on the poster and we don't have him in one yet. I don't know what would be iconic for the others except another tux...

That's the problem...if they stick to "non-specific" icons.

I mean, Connery was in that white dinner jacket for less than three minutes...and yet its become iconic.

When I think of Moore, I unfortunately think of those terrible leisure suits he wore in almost every film.

YES!
That's more like it.

And listen to these folks Sideshow! Auric Goldfinger and more! This is a great restart! Now, get to it! It's not like you've exhausted this line! :D

By the way, I know there will be a 12" of Daniel Craig in time for the new movie? Yes?
Hope so.

This stinks of an all-encapsulating get out clause to me"We want new Bond figures" say the fans..."There you go" say Sideshow, who do nt have to do the R&D on new figures, just kitting out the old ones with any scraps of cloth left over form Obi-Wans cape.Look at the cut on the tux.Whats that all about??If they re going to take benefits from these partnerships take a lesson in tailoring from Hot Toys will you?The Rambo Trautmanns uniform is just superb!!
No,sorry...disappointed once again and feeling this line is going to die a long lingering death while we wait for the one or two"iconic" figures a year:confused:

If they want an iconic Moore,it has to be the opening scene of "The spy who loved me",in one of the greatest and most risk-filled stunts of all time, jumping off a mountain and unfurling an "Union Jack" parachute!!

I wouldn't get too upset on tailoring on a prototype - Sideshow's costuming is usually pretty good.

Sorry to mention, but the vest is wrong : it should be peaked
(and the gun also)
Maybe add the little flower which he puts on after he removed his drysuit ...

But I am sure they will fix this ;-)

When can this figure be bought?

Well, I'm definitely gonna get two of these-- Connery is my favorite Bond and I was disappointed that the Goldfinger Bond didn't have the white dinner jacket. Hey, perhaps Sideshow will do another Thunderball Bond, this time with the rocket belt-- that's what I really want!

Good starting point for the line. I've been waiting for the white tux look. Maybe they'll do Craig second. That would get a DC Bond out quickly.

Hopefully this line will run side by side with the original line to get more villains out. As the villains haven't sold all that well lately, we may not see anymore. :(

Here's hoping.

That's a promo shot, not a part from the movie, actually its not even the latest one, its the one from when he was first selected as Bond. Here's a link to the latest one and it also has the one you linked in the article.

Now I'm not saying this is 100%, I'm just pointing out that Daniel Craig supposedly said that he won't wear a tux in the movie, with the exception of the opening sequence. He might have just been screwing around with the reporter's head. There is also a promo shot of DC at a card table wearing a tux, so take it how you want.

The one sheet uses that still of him at a Baccarat table wearing a tux also. And a lot of the action of CR takes place in a casino (at least in the book). I think Craig was just pulling a leg.

Where does it say that they will no longer make anyone but Bond? I'm not doubting it, just confused why sideshow would make such a crazy choice. We need Villians!

Hopefully he was. The movie is supposed to follow the book relatively faithfully from what I've heard. Although alot has been added too, a rooftop chase for one. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the torture scene.

i cant wait to see this movie!!!! and hopefully they will pump out some 12" villains. i wonder if they plan on making any figures for the upcoming movie??

This has to be the easiest Bond figure Sideshow ever had to "make"!:D
Yeah, all they have to do is re-dress the previously made Bond figures since they already nailed the likenesses. I guess they'd need to resculpt Dalton's hair though.
