Yeah, all they have to do is re-dress the previously made Bond figures since they already nailed the likenesses.

And not even an entire redress...just make a white dinner jacket to go with the tux outfit they already have from Dr. No.

Shocking... Positively shocking.

That is exactly hat I was talking about. The only think new is the dinner jacket. I wonder how they'll "redress" Brosnan, Dalton, Lazenby and Moore.

I have no idea what they could possibly put those guys in that would fit into this "iconic" category...

But perhaps Moore will be in that shiny silver space suit from the Moonraker poster. I always remember that, especially since it wasn't in the movie.

You guys sound like your complaining about a new Bond figure. Stop it or else we might not get any more. Just say you don't care for it and move on. No need to tear this figure apart because it was in our opinions relatively easy for Sideshow to make.

No, no, not complaining, just discussing, wondering, hoping for more insight.

I definitely want this line, whatever it will be, so don't take these comments as complaints.

Who said I was complaining? I am a huge Bond fan, I have no reason to complain about a new 007 figure.

I may not be ecstatic that we're getting another Connery in tux, but I am glad to see James Bond return. I can't wait to see what they do for Moore.

Well that does it for me. I saw the old Connery figure at Suncoast a long time ago, but I wasn't into 12" figures at the time (and I was a poor high school student), so I passed. When I got into SW and LOTR I said I would get a Bond if they ever made a new Connery in a tux, which at the time seemed like it would never happen (I'm safe, I thought). Now look how Sideshow MOCKS me! How could you do this to my poor wallet! This is the best Bond yet, darn it! Why Sideshow? Why?

Merciful wilikers.

I didn't say you were complaining, it just sounds like complaining. I can understand what you guys are saying about it being a very simple figure to make, but if Sideshow sees it like I'm seeing it, they might not want to make more of these simple new figures. A grey suit Connery is just a Dr. No or Goldfinger Bond in a new color X-Files suit. Just watch what you're saying and how you say it. Remember what happened to Kit Fisto? People complained about him, so Sideshow gave him a lower exclusive size. Now his exclusive is one of the most wanted. Don't make them limit this Connery to 100 or less. Just be happy SOMETHING from the Bond line is being made.

End Rant :D

Dude, they're not going to drop the Bond line or LIMIT any figures or plans to release figures with the Bond license in hand and the new Movie coming out because some board members are having a healthy discussion about outfit decisions and feedback. Fans expressing their wants and desires only enhance and aid the decision making process...

Nope - if its the "iconic" version its a 3 piece suit - not a 2 piece american business suit ;)

Yes, and it's different tailoring too, tight collars and lapels and I would assume a different material, a more silky classic "slate blue" as its called. Certainly an iconic suit, as we've seen Hitchcock use in films like North by Northwest, of course Bond was first...

Yeah, Bond in his classic 3 piece suit would be key. Connery wore that in more films than he ever did the tux. I hope we get that costume sooner or later, I know SSC will be able to do it justice.

Speaking of Q....why not make another Q figure?

John Cleese? Or an older or younger Desmond?

I wasn't complaining about the grey suit and Q comparison. I was just teasing. :D I am buying the new White Tux Bond.
