Wasn't bad until the Joker dweebs showed up after TDK truthfully

Is that when it was? This used to be an awesome forum, but at some point it turned into "everything sucks" be it a movie, statue, figure or whatever else. I just figured the forum had become mostly millennials.

You'll find it's the same two or three individuals posting the continuing negative comments in the dc movie statue threads.

One or two comments stating your dissatisfaction with the piece I understand, but when it becomes non stop then imo it's quite annoying.

Right this guy has been whining over a statue that he does not even own and talks **** wtf is that. Hope this guy afattori gets a life real soon, because all I keep reading is his hate it is quite sad!!!

Well I am apart of the x generation, so I love the statue.

The Sideshow "elitists" that compulsively buy any and every subpar statue they come across are the only thing keeping Sideshow afloat other than their distribution deals with other toy and doll companies.

Crappy Christopher Reeve Supes PF, doing his Dam tap dancing jig? DEFENDED AND BOUGHT

Crappy Ledger Joker PF, surfin' with his painful scoliosis? DEFENDED AND BOUGHT

:lol

What was the point of that post?

Even if you dislike the movie pieces, given their smaller selection and again smaller edition sizes relative to their comic based pieces I don't really think it hurts Sideshow all that much.

Given that I primarily collect movie pieces, it's getting pretty repetitive reading the same comments in these particular threads. I've only been collecting for three years now, and pretty much from day one I knew their facesculpts of actors weren't the greatest, or that their prototypes and production pieces can be vastly different, especially those Iron Man pieces.

Only downside is that they'll put off attempting to do something like another Supes movie related piece.

Got him today, looks awesome!!!

I'm very impressed with this statue. Head looks better in hand than pictures. He suite just needs adjusting to make his body look less skinny.

I might mix match and put him up against afgleck batman.

Also does his head have a magnet? Or is it the clothing that makes it feel less powerful to put on.

I don't know the head on mine is barely held on by the clothing. There is no magnets I think it this statue or probably the weakest magnets known to man

The head on mine is fine . But I put the collar of the purple jacket a bit lower so the hair was sturdier at first I felt the same way that it was gonna fall off but if you mess with it should be better . There should be a huge magnet in the head part at the base of the neck .Maybe test it with a paperclip or something to make sure yours is there. I can clearly see mine ,Just checked

Re: The Dark Knight Joker

is anyone else's magnets weak or feel like the head is about to fall off?

A lot of them have weak magnets bro, mine included. None of them feel like they're going to fall off, but there's definitely some play. They definitely don't have a strong hold.

The worst one was the hand with the gun. Wouldn't hold at all and just fell straight off when I tried to connect it, and broke in the process. I contacted sideshow and they're sending me a replacement.

Some guy's magnets were so weak he was under the impression there was no magnets in it lol.

It must be the obstruction of the clothing. Or another reason for them not to be strong. Maybe not to damage the hair?

I'm still impressed with this statue.

I canceled my order. In todays hobby, you either aren't completely satisfied, or you return it. Theres no in between. Probably gonna end up getting rid of my bats now. Its a shame. I really like my Bats with the sonar eyes. And I wanted to replicate that showdown scene with Joker. They really should have made a knife instead of a card hand. It would have made more sense.

Congrats to everyone whom love the pairing!

Fair enough dude. What made you change your mind? Just weren't feeling it?

Agree with what you said. These have become really expensive to the point where you have to be really picky about what you buy. No point spending this sort of coin on something you're not totally satisfied with.

Agree on the pose also. I don't really have a problem with the stance, even though a better one could have been chosen, but the card hand does look odd and doesn't really suit. I would have preferred a knife in the left hand and the gun in the right perhaps. It is what it is though, and despite the shortcomings I still think it makes a cool display with Batman.

In saying that, I wouldn't have one without the other, and if I didn't have Batman I wouldn't buy this, as I think it just looks odd on it's own, ditto with Batman, so I can understand why you'd want to sell Batman.

Thanks for the congrats and for being mature in your comments, unlike some people in this thread.
