Re: The Last of Us Part II (Confirmed, trailer posted)
Could we get one purge day? To post whatever we want?
We need a **** gif storm, it needs to happen.
I remember people used to post **** on the down low like 3 years ago.
same with the gf.
Reported! She influencing and filling your mind with pure filth, Snake! You shall not spread such filth in this sacred place.
I'm one to talk though - I've seen enough Riley Reid gifs embedded in my mind for a whole lifetime.
That's my wife in a nutshell, only uses it to watch **** gifs.
I'm only on it for the fandom stuff and gifs and news and **** gifs. All other post are whining and bitching about somthing . The funniest things from Tumblr are people who take post to seriously, or are "triggered" by it
I like to make an *** out of myslef.

To be honest, overly sexualized women in games can vary when you realize it's mostly optional, but then you see nude Raiden and Johnny in MGS 1/2 which is mandatory. And a shirt less Snake in the middle of the ****ing arctic and wherever the **** Gronzy Grad was but hey - everything thinks Anita Sarkeesian's problem is 'SHE'S A WOMAN LUL'.Also, there's nothing wrong with sexualizing characters for your target audience and when appropriate.
There's nothing wrong with sexuality, period.
No wonder why my generation doesn't get laid.
But men don't get sexualized waaaah
Women, only one thing in their minds
Absolutely, that's why I said when it's appropriate, for instance, you can't be mad at Duke Nukem, but if they were to portray women in TLOU like they do in Duke Nukem, that'd be a problem. Don't worry about Anita Sarkeesian's problems, if there isn't any, she'll make up one.To be honest, overly sexualized women in games can vary when you realize it's mostly optional, but then you see nude Raiden and Johnny in MGS 1/2 which is mandatory. She's so bad, even my non-gamer friends know about herAbsolutely, that's why I said when it's appropriate, for instance, you can't be mad at Duke Nukem, but if they were to portray women in TLOU like they do in Duke Nukem, that'd be a problem. This is correct, but this also needs to be squared with the fact that we've had a million male characters in video games (and action films) who weren't captivating in any way shape or form. In fact the vast majority of video game characters suck, period. The notion that the female characters must be held to a higher standard & subject to more scrunity than their male counterparts in order to justify their presence in a male-dominated field is quite frankly sexism in a nutshell.Female protagonists in video games seem to "suck" in comparison to male protagonists because female protagonists are still relatively new to the video gaming world. Creators have always struggled with writing female characters that can captivate an audience of mostly men, which is why we have characters like the over-sexualized Lara Croft and Samus, whose gender had to be revealed after players were already fully invested so that they wouldn't quit the game. It used to be incredibly controversial to even have a female protagonist in a video game. We've come a long way.

Hey Laura Croft validated large breasted girls everywhere who were too afraid to do a handstand on a rock wall
Is it weird this thread is making me want to dust off Outlaw Volleyball?
Your focus with "the agenda", research there-of & stand-offishness to it is in itself showing a higher standard has been set; how much time did you spend researching what agenda may be behind the sexual identity choice of Doom's protagonist, for example?...i can just digest bad male characters better because theres no agenda. Female characters aren’t being held to a higher standard I don’t really know where you guys are coming up with this stuff
The fact that this is something that concerns you, when it wouldn't have even crossed your mind had the protagonist remained Joel, again exposes the issue at play....I’m concerned he might go to far pushing that agenda in the sequel, why is that turning everyone here into White Knights?
