Though I dont get the fuzz about the ending, to me it was perfect. I felt like I would have done the exact same thing as Joel. Mind you that saving humanity doesnt mean much to me when all of the human race so far has been either:

1: Murderous.
2: Rapists.
3: Thieves.
4: A combination of all these.
5: Liars.

I thanked god in the end that he let Ellie live.

Out of all the seasons I'd say Winter made most impact on me.

The ending was just about perfect, I'm looking at you, Mass Effect..

Right in all points, I thought the ending was flawless. And yeah, Winter definitely was the best of the seasons.

It is a truly perfect ending. One that I didn't expect and one that challenges the norms of storytelling. I was expecting a Children of Men type ending, and I was waiting for it all game. Then FALL happened and I said, "Welp...this is it...this is what I was waiting for." Then they turned the tables on my @ss and gave me two more awesome seasons.

Yeah I think it was brilliant to make the story last for a year, Winter was the absolute emotional bottom to the story. The ending the Winter section really set the stage for Joel's admission that he loved Ellie.

I don't think that ending was the only one possible, which is why it's so perfect, it leaves you with a feeling of wondering what would've happened...

I can find reasons for the world to be saved at expense of Eli's life, which is why Joel's decision is so morally heavy and somewhat selfish, to a certain degree, fatherly, that is why the ending was so nurturing for me, not because it was the "right" ending, there was no right or wrong.

Single Player DLC is slated for December apparently. I wonder if it's in the middle of the story or an extension on the ending. SP DLC 6 months after the game release looks to me like it won't be small at all.

my girlfriend had the **** scared out of her when Ellie walked up to Joel like that. Once I got to the part where with the Science building she went back to normal.

I honestly don't know what caused it. I cleared the upstairs where you need to turn the generator on while Ellie waits downstairs behind the gate with the horse. I came downstairs to open the door and I turned around and she was all ****ed up on the horse

I buy just about every game that comes out. This was hands-down game of the year for me. I've finished it several time and watched it as many on YouTube.
