My brother was a career navy guy. The show he had real problems with was JAG.

Catherine Bell could prosecute me all day long. :drool

Haha! I knew something was going to happen! Certain someone just always has to participate in every mission... Ugh! Lol

Someone please remind me at the beginning of this episode, what did that one crew member do again to get himself isolated from the crew where everyone is avoiding him? It's completely escaping me? Thanks

You know it did me too. I thought the ones that were going to be "punished" were the two lovebirds, but that wasn't him, so I'm not sure without seeing last weeks episode again.

He was one of the guys that wanted off the ship. He ****ed up royally and now he's facing the consequences.

I didn't know they were being punished for that. I thought there was quite a few that wanted off.

To clarify, we are talking about the one guy who everyone was avoiding and who got put on the boarding party and was feeling guilty because he tripped and didn't make it onto the captains rhib correct? I'm trying to remember someone else who was being avoided and he's the only one that comes to mind.

exactly, there were 12 people who wanted off, so that wasn't it. Wait, was he the one that screwed up somehow when they went to Guantanamo Bay? Sounds vaguely familar?

Yeah, that was actually it. He just happened to be the crew member that the episode was focusing on instead of spreading it around all of them. You'll probably see the rest of the guys that wanted to leave getting the cold shoulder as well. It's hard to explain to people who haven't served which is why the show probably leaves some people scratching their heads. Basically the crew felt betrayed by these people who were thinking of themselves instead of the ship which in essence is a big family. Yes, their enlistment was up but they still had a duty to perform. Greater good and all that. I'm not saying that what they did was wrong but in the mindset of others it is.

It's like that army sergeant who was just released from Taliban imprisonment. He literally left his unit and walked off base only to be captured. When he was released, not one good thing was said about him by other soldiers. He betrayed them by just walking away.

Good episode. The only part I hated was the one sailor saying "you're wrong, I'll miss you"....seriously? Did they hire a soap opera writer for that dialogue? Easily one of the cheesiest things ever in this show.

While I didn't hate it I did think it was cheesy! :lol

Other than that it was a solid episode IMO. :D
