What an endearing character. I love how he isnt the silent badass mary sue I thought he would be before the show. Nope

He gets shot, he gets his ass kicked by beasts, he gets caught off guard and ragdolled, he can barely stand sometimes ...BUT at the same time he is great in a scrap or shootout. and he has great pride. I need this figure..

Yeah I have to admit I was finding the character a bit dull at the beginning, but as that first episode went on (I haven't seen the second one yet) and we saw more of his personality come through, I found myself liking him more and more.

And of course his interaction with IG-11 was what really made the character click for me. Really hope we'll get to see more of that.

Are those brownish armor parts beskar or not?

I really do like that he?s the strong, silent type. It?s not something you see too much of these days. It gives him room for development and a slower reveal of his personality and background. I think it adds to the mystery of the character. I?m sure we?ll learn more about him little by little. We can also try to interpret what he?s thinking and feeling by his body language through the awesome looking armor.

I don't think so. That big dude scratching it with him knife probably proves it can take damage. If that doesn't prove it's not beskar, then watch episode 2:lol

So yeah, the only think beskar I believe is his helmet and shoulder pauldron.

I love this show so far. I just PO the figure, I hope it continues to surprise me moving foward.

Not sure whether to wait for a Beskar version or not.

After 2 episodes I'm still indifferent to the character. I don't know why but I didn't fall in love immediately like 99% of the audience seemed to after the first episode.

I don't know if it's a factor but I really expected this to be a 50-60 minute long show and not a 30-40 minute one like it's been so far.

so much nostalgic sensations encapsulated in this ep2, no words could adequately describe my tremendous sense of admiration for The Mandalorian, at least for now.

Thank you Favreau, Filoni and releated crew members that working on this show.

I enjoy everything Star Wars but this is just is about as good as it can get so far IMO. Its not just the Mandalorian it's everything and everyone around him that Disney has done amazing work bringing to life. Hope it continues

I have spoken

Enjoyed the character interactions and plot progression a bit more in ep1 but ep2 was still pretty decent. Anyone else expect the egg to be a krayt dragon egg?

So, if those brown parts are not beskar, why does not he trade them with Jawas? The onscreen reason was Mando won't give his beskar armor. Why didn't they just say he's a bounty hunter and needs armor if they aren't beskar? That confused me.

They wanted beskar, not his armor. So helmet or shoulder pad. And since his goal is to get full beskar armor to become proper Mando (and beskar is one of the most expensive things), he refused.

I hope HT updates the preorder and includes The Asset.

If they do, they won't be able to reveal it until May due to the show not being 'officially' available worldwide until April.

Not that everyone who wants to see it won't have already thanks to the internet.

I really enjoyed the 1st episode. Looking forward to the rest.
