I should think so since it uses a Hot Toys figure... LFL would nevvvvverrrrrr use an HT figure in an official poster... right? :lol

Will we get a 4k or blu ray release of Mando season 1 on physical media? If not disney is greedy as **** there is no other reason not to release season 1 on blu ray or 4k if not to force people to subscribe to the ****** disney plus. Even dc releases all theirs on blu ray titans, doom patrol, arrow, flash, supergirl etc

I?ve been waiting for that too. As good as streaming can be, nothing beats having the physical media.

Do you mean from a collectible point of view or actual quality of the media? I've been pretty happy with the 4k streaming media recently and haven't gone to the discs for those that I have both streaming and disc for in quite some time.

Both, I suppose. But with my set up I have noticed that physical media looks better than streaming.

Same. Physical is always better. Plus you own it indefinitely. What happens if they decide to take it down? (Not saying they would)

If you really think about it, its not just the cost of the streaming service its that plus the cost of the internet speed required to stream 4k properly. With disks your internet doesn't matter. What good is a digital library if you dont pay for internet monthly or spend enough for the speed to stream it properly (top end internet speeds can cost up to $80 per month or more with out a packaged deal. Plug and play baby join the free world like neo “unplug” yourself from reliance on the matrix and micro transaction cost or cost per gigabyte streamed. They are all in it together, the internet providers, the movie studios that dont want to produce physical media (everything is digital rights over cloud), the ****ing streaming companies (Apple and vudu), and the really worthless ones like disney and dc max or whatver it was called before it sunk and became part of hbo max. Outside of netflix most dont offer **** for original content. Disney promised a **** ton of original crap but all we have to show for it thus far is 1 season of mondo and the final season of clone wars. They are all in it together to charge you for something you dont own and each one in the supply chain benefits from ripping you off

This is why disney wont release the mandolorian on 4k or blu ray (Or the last season of clone wars) cause they want to “force” you, the fans into Monthly subscription. Atleast warner and dc released teen titans, doom patrol, swamp thing, and all the cw shows (if they float your boat) on disk, so i never had to subscribe to that ******** or pay for cable except for sports. Look what they are doing with mulan release. You pay 29.99 not to rent it but to own it just as long as you are subsribed to disney max. Once you unsescribe you lose ownership- what the **** is that. So what in 10 months when mulan is just added to the disney roster and you can buy the digital copy on vudu for the cool disney price of 10.99. You just lose that 29.99 when you unsubscribe all they are doing is tricking people into spending 10 more then normal direct to digital rentals under a fake ownership disguise. Disney is run by the most greedy people on the planet

I do enjoy having the digital media as backup if the internet is down, but as a full-time work at home person (even before the pandemic), I need to have top internet speed anyway, so there's no extra cost for streaming. If I watch something like Endgame in my media room, I'll usually go with the 4K disc, but my other locations in the house lack a player, so I just go with the streaming. I'll have to try streaming versus media in my media room sometime to see if I notice the difference. Good stuff.

The biggest problem to streaming and buying digital copies is you only get to watch the version of the movie the studio wants you to see. You don't own anything, but merely paying for the rights to stream it.

As Star Wars fans who clamor for the original unaltered OT to be released officially (thankfully we have many fan edits such as Harmy), the same can be done for any movie/TVshow when it's not released on a physical format. How many movies have been altered over the years? Especially now with all the BS going on with what's offensive and what's not? Streaming TV shows having entire episodes omitted because now they are offensive to some people? Movies being re edited... When does that stop. Buying physical media means the original version is forever out there to be found regardless of what the studio wants to edit out or add in..

Imagine buying a digital copy of a movie and watching it. Then going back to watch it a 2nd time a few weeks/months later to find it's been altered and content you feel you payed for has been removed... So sorry, enjoy the new and improved cut that we feel is appropriate because some people cried it was offensive. That's censorship on a mass scale.

There's nothing like having access to a physical library.

Just as well The Mandalorian was readily available to download after each episode aired.

Seems overkill to have a permanent subscription to a service just so you can watch something again when you feel like it.

I love having discs as well, the above is an excellent post.

Below in the link is a very sad story.

The recent comments Favreau has made about his approach to Star Wars and fans has me optimistic that season two will be very good...

Very hyped for season 2!
