Speaking of the Mandos flying and how ell-executed it is, I was a fan of this shot:

Looks like they missed a major marketing item with those sweaters....it?s like the perfect Xmas item....

:lol

Reminds me of the hilarious ROTJ deleted scene of the Mon Calamari fighter pilot being blown up and ad-libbing "It'll be fried calamari tonight!" I wonder if that's how they actually came up with the species name, lol.

Wow, I thought I had seen it all .....that?s all new material to me!

Thx!

I know. It was absolutely perfect. I'm pretty sure some of those squidheads had been previously knocked unconscious too. Not anymore, lol.

:exactly:

This one. And the perfect crystalline light of the X-wings against a dawn sky. IMO the lighting of this series deserves awards and more awards. Just noticed as Mando sits in front of the Armorer 3 flames reflecting flames flicker in the visor.

Also this season has been full of sly humor like this baby mamacore served up for Baby's lunch.

Amazon didn't, fans tracked it down:

Amazon Essentials Men's Long-Sleeve 100% Cotton Fisherman Cable Crewneck

If I wanted to be a d*&k about it I'd say u don't wear cotton at sea unless ur a day sailor *cotton kills* but for 30$ u can pick up and be wearing a genuine prop.

According to IGN, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 actor Janina Gavankar had the pleasure of co-puppeteering this sweater-wearing Cal?s nostrils alongside special effects pro, Frank Ippolito.

?[Ippolito] is one of the many special effects artists that work on The Mandalorian,? Gavankar told IGN in a phone interview. ?And Ippolito was one of the makers and actors behind a Mon Calamari seen in the teaser trailer for ?The Heiress.? The one putting their hands on their hips while the trailer cuts to the Razor Crest seemingly crash landing.?

?There is a Mon Calamari who puts their hands on their hips. That?s Frank Ippolito who?s inside that rig. He made that headpiece and it takes two puppeteers to animate it,? Gavankar explained. ?And they needed a second puppeteer to just handle the nostrils of this character. And [Ippolito] called me and he said, ?Do you want to come puppeteer the nostrils of this Mon Calamari?'?

Gavankar said, ?*****k yes,? and the rest is history.

Re-ranking my episodes and Sanctuary has to be the worst episode of this show by far.

Mando gets hit in the helmet by a fist, is completely dazed and falls to the ground. Cara gets hit in the head and is completely fine. Utterly ridiculous. Beskar can stop a blaster bolt but not the Feminist Fists of Justice!

Mando completely acts like an idiot in the final battle, totally clueless. But then not two episodes later elaborately controls a prison by closing and shutting doors and stalks down his prey with ease... but luring an AT-ST three feet is just too much. Guess he was too dumb to shoot out the windows too.

Pointless romance sub-plot that feels cringe and of course that woman is the strongest most accurate bravest town person there ever was.

This is the most Disneyesque episode of the show by far, following the same sad formula their movies always do, girl power good and superior!

It's like these people don't know how to write female characters without putting down the main character of the show. Really wish Howard wasn't returning to direct because I guarantee it will be the same garbage.

I agree this episode was trash.. Though i had no issue with Cara getting the upper hand.. She can get the upper hand on most men in real life also :lol

FREAKING MASTERPIECE EPISODE!

Just WOW!

WOW WOW WOW!

Is this really happening.

Did I just watch a 300 million dollar looking TCW in live action. :thud:

BY perfectly used AGAIN!

Glorious. .

All I can say.....

I loved this episode! You-know-who was awesome! The way she carried herself was very reminiscent of Carrie-Anne Moss from the first Matrix. Perfectly realized in live-action. Hopefully we see much more of her in the episodes ahead.

Is.....

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this episode.. I thought it was by far the best of the two seasons..

It just felt the most like Star Wars.. I liked Mondo more in this one... I like the music more in this one which I think was because I was actually into the episode. I actually laughed at two of the humor bits... I think this might be the first time I laughed at the humor in this show.

I thought it looked stunning.. It felt like a Star Wars Universe and not a TV show.. The CGI was top notch.. I cant believe the person who directed the worst episode directed what is IMO the best one. Loved the lighting and feel. Just.. Wow... Great!!!

I loved the Story.. I loved the attachment to TCW and Rebels.

I am somewhat shocked that everyone else loved it.. Only because I was not as keen on all other episodes.. I though for sure since I loved this one that everyone else would have hated it :lol

How could the Empire possibly manage to overthrow Mandalore with those stupidly lousy stormtroopers is way beyond my understanding.

How did the Empire manage to rule the Galaxy for 20 years with those stupidly lousy stormtroopers?

You guys never pay attention to the dialogue

Fear will keep the local systems in line....they obviously have been using that tactic for a long while before IV.

Why not works really well in reality.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the episode....but I'm assuming I'd have liked it more if I knew who the **** Bo Katan is.

Is Sabine Wren gonna be on this show? I never watched Rebels, but I despised her from the moment they introduced her in the Rebels promo reel. She reeks of the "Poochie" of the SW universe, so I'm really hoping she never shows up in my new favorite show.

I thought Sackoff was her cause she had pink hair, so it was a bit of a relief that it wasn't.

As usual I could care less about characters that originated from a cartoon or book but I also have no problem when they are transitioned over into live format as long as they are well written and serve a narrative purpose.

I just hope we see the birth of Rose Tico lol

:lol :lol

Oh that's a bit harsh.. She is too thin in those photos for sure.

I never thought she was super attractive but she has looked better for sure.

Granted there si some airbrushing going on in some of these but who doesn't get airbrushed

I’ll just resort to my go to answer during these debates.

I do her.

lol

Or are hot. If all else fails, being hot will do.

I just hope we see the birth of Rose Tico lol

Too late. She was one of the eggs that Baby Yoda ate. The ST retcon, begun it has...

Someone needs to meme caption a video clip of The Child eating the eggs. Each characters face superimposed on an egg as they are eaten.
