Was that a macaroon The Child was eating?
For some weird reason that base reminded me of Scarif.
And was i seeing things or did two speeder bikes crash together?
I have to admit i laughed quite a bit during the second half.
Some great potential toys in there ha ha.
Very entertaining, nice to see Carl Weathers directing. I?m looking forward to see what Robert Rodriguez does.

Another fun episode, great to see some of the season one characters again. But man these recent episodes have been short...and the season already half over.

I feel like they are a bit longer than last season, this one was nearly 40 mins, some of last season were barely 30. Plus more bang for buck this year definitely.

It was a fun episode, heavy with a classic EU feel. In fact, this and the previous episode reminded me of the earlier Star Wars video games (the Dark Forces series).

And no, you weren't seeing things. :lol

It reminded me of GOTG2 ... don?t press this button ...

:lecture

It was funny seeing Mando persist, trying to make him useful even though it looked completely hopeless!

[...] Fun episode imo. Cant wait for the usual complaints of it not progressing the story at all, even though it does and we havent yet seen how everything comes together in the finale yet.

Reeeaalllly fun. One of those episodes that made me nerd out and think back to playing Star Wars as a kid.

Imperial Troop Transport, TIE Fighters, and Speeder Bikes all in one action sequence? COME ON!! :horror ...while the imperials were once again easily bested by a small, heavily plot-armoured group, some of them at least got to look a little bit threatening before meeting their maker.

"...no guard rail..." was low-hanging fruit but I still laughed. :lol

The Brat can add theft to his rap sheet.

Jeeeezus what a rock solid season so far holy crap 4 in a row have been spectacular and right when I think the effects can?t get any better they go and give us another spectacular looking episode.

I mean seriously the cgi just can?t get any better than this not even in cinema forget tv.

The inertia on display is just staggering.

Is everyone sitting down for what i?m about to say.

Did Gina Carano acting actually improve.

:chase

Holy crap she actually had some nuance to her performance that was never there before.

Her nuances made her super sexy as well.

Hmm are they heading into ST territory with Force User clone experiments. :D

And did the first Speeder Biker that Greef blasted with the turret break apart in three pieces like the old Kenner toy, lol. :yess:

At first I was annoyed that they'd padding the Ahsoka tease but once they were running around blasting troops in that base I though eh forget her, lol.

Enjoying the season very much. Not sure the hate with the side missions. I love it. Get more story overall, more flashing out the SW universe. Imo with the run times of the show, if they solely focused on the Moff Gideon arc it?d boil down to a full length movie like season 1. Could have cut out episodes 4-6 of season 1 and you have the main plot. More than likely we?ll get one more of these episodes thus season then back on track for the main arc. We?ll see. Love it.

This one was 35, but that includes a 1 min recap and 3 min of credits. Its 31 actual min. too short

Liked the episode, but don't tease Ashoka's appearance, then not deliver!

Looks like jye was right when he called that Episode 5, the episode directed by Dave Filoni, will be the one to introduce Ahsoka. I just can't wait to see what Robert Rodriguez does with her. :rock

And man they're really making us wait for Biehn aren't they. I was hoping he'd be a regular this season.

Why wouldnt a lab be there? Its secluded, Outer Rim, perfect for seedy and dark experiments. Why else would Gideon and his forces be there already in Season 1?

And its space, Im sure there are advanced technologies and techniques for repairing ships.

The whole show is fan service and its great :lol

Oh, don't get me wrong, there's nothing SW I luv like this show.
On the other hand - probably because of last week's episode - expected the grimness and grit to ratchet up.:horror:lightsabe

As for the lab, IMO Empire and co. would either have this important lab better staffed; or cleared out entirely. Also, can't see that Din D'jarin wouldn't at least make an inquiry about the Armourer/covert. The show does good showing it's been cleared out and left to "scum and villainy" but how would he know that?

(As for why Moff & co. were there in the first place, I figured it was just a fragmented mess after the revolution and these Empire remnants, warlords, pirates etc. were all just claiming territory where they could, while the New Republic struggles to get up and running.)

I could care less about this "story progression" tho since no-one knows what the story is, beyond some broad guesses. IMO the more time in Favreau and Filoni's sandbox the better. I did get a superhero landing, Cara kicking *ss, Mando kicking *ss in the Crest, and some hilarious Mando/Child moments. Using the Force to steal cookies:lol

That speeder bike scene was insane loved it.

You must learn patience lol

I also predicted the connection to the ST in this very early show

:chase

But RR is going to do a great job with her my man is James Cameron most favorite protege.

Imagine if Biehn is really Fett and not TM :panic:

I?m also thinking Biehn might be a death trooper breaking free from his programming.

Or Biehn is Rey?s family :panic:

Using the Force to steal cookies:lol

I never thought I'd live to see the "Come to the Dark Side we have cookies" meme canonized in live-action, lol.

That speeder bike scene was insane loved it.

Hell yeah though Cara driving the troop carrier over the cliff did give me unpleasant KOTCS flashbacks. At least she didn't land in a bouncy tree, lol.

Oh man can you imagine.

That'd be great too. :yess:

Just as long as they don't give us any of that "Rey's dad was a failed clone crap," lol.

Here you go jye. :D

I haz a luv lol

Man I so want my ass kicked by GC.

The troop transport drop off the cliff didn’t bug me like KOTCS because it is not earth so yeah the vehicle can do that lol

Biehn is sent forward in time (instead of backwards) to protect BY lol

I did love that

Gideon allowed the town on Navarro to thrive in order to keep it as a viable base for Mando to return to so that one of his sleeper agents could plant a tracker on his ship.

They're really making him out to be a worthy recurring villain.

He also looks cool in that get up of his but i?m thinking Cara will be revealed to be a villain.

It just hit me now that I just watched awesome Star Wars directed by Apollo Creed and Dillon lol

Let that stew for awhile and think how wildly awesome that sounds and it worked.

:lol :lol

"What day is it? The date??"

"12. May. Life Day."

"Which canon??"

"Wha..?"

lol

Holy crap lol
