I haven't read them in over 20 years but trash? Wow. Many credit those books with bringing Star Wars back from the dead in the early 90s....now, it probably would have come back one way or another regardless but....

Ooh! That conflicts with the plot leaks going around that the episode will be 58 minutes long. The plot thickens!

First thing I'll be doing when I watch it will be check the runtime. :lol That alone will tell me whether or not to expect all the stuff from the alleged plot leak.

If the 58-minute episode leak is accurate, you'll learn Baby Yoda's actual name and his origin (surprisingly detailed, actually). Plus, fans of the animated shows and the old EU are gonna get much more than just Ahsoka to geek out over. People like TheDucky will be on Cloud Nine. :lol

Pretty accurate

Luke showing up at some point to take custody of BY would be ideal.

Why, so he can abandon him like everyone else or get him killed by Han and Leia's psychopathic loser son? :lol

Wasn?t suggesting Lance for GAT, too old.
[...]Given how Asoka was used they could?ve used the voice actor for the physical roll imo.
Oh right...in my head Lance is ageless. I forgot!

As for Ahsoka, I disagree. A voice actor to replace a seasoned screen vet like Dawson? Not sure she'd do well when it's more than a voice.

[/SPOILER]

It's all being undone. At the very least I think we are going to see LS as he should have been portrayed, even if only for a few moments.

In your mind Lance is ageless. In my mind Luke never turned into a D-bag and the second trilogy never happened. Luke was successful along with Mara and Leia in ushering a new age for the Jedi but with lessons learned.

Anyone who says the Thrawn trilogy is trash should get the side-eye on anything else they say on any subject.

Mara Jade Emperors hand lol such a horrible character

Thrawn trilogy has such a ridiculous convoluted plot with ridiculous characters.

Trash trash trash

A convoluted mess.

Get trolled by Favreau!

I hesitate to wade into this, but after reading the synopses for the 3 books in the Thrawn trilogy IMO there's no way in hell all that stuff is happening within the world of The Mandalorian. Even if there's a spin-off show, at best you'll see them adapt the story and characters to fit the on-screen canon that's been established.

Anyways here is my review of the latest episode.

ABSO FREAKING MIND BLOWING AMAZING!

Hands down the most gorgeous lightsaber illumination ever used in all of SW!

RD was freaking amazing she looked gorgeous while simultaneously bad ass and at times super freaking scary!

What a beautiful beautiful looking episode just absolutely blown away!

RD live introduction was a huge WIN!

Lightsaber battles were spectacular.

ZERO COMPLAINTS!

All I'm really saying is I am now pretty optimistic that the ST will be avoided at the very least in favor of other pursuits and it is likely that LS makes a cool appearance.

Ezra seems more likely than Luke at this point.

Pretty sure Luke doesn't begin training the new generation of Jedi until 6 years after this.

Regardless of who shows up, The Child isn't going anywhere, the whole show is based on the bond between him and Din. Getting rid of him would make a lot of casual viewers (and subscribers) lose interest, as well as giving up tons of merchandising opportunities.

Also lets move on from the ST talk :lol.
