So I?m a native English speaker and have no such problems with the name, rolls off the tongue just fine.

If I had to compare the phonemes to a real language, I?d say maybe Japanese comes to mind first; which if anything seems appropriate to me given the show?s vibe at times.

Your speculation that Favreau or whoever regrets it is ... well ... odd to me. We have no way of knowing it?s just that you hate the name.

I don?t think any name could have pleased everyone. I happen to like it but it?s such an arbitrary and subjective thing.

Although I wouldn?t name my kid Grogu. Maybe a chihuahua or something.

Because it's not just me that hates it; from what I can tell online it got a lukewarm reception. But yeah, I hate it. If I'd had to guess re naming a character, I would've drawn on something Celtic or, an Asian language. It's a name I'd give to a more troll-like character. Or an orc.

Then again, never liked the name Yaddle either. To me that sounds like a processed snack food. Grogu is definitely better.

I can't wait for tomorrow's prison break episode and see Bill Burr interacting with BF.. It would be hilarious if Fett disintegrated him before they could even use him. I can totally see some dialogue along the lines of "I heard you were dead" or something.

And as for the name Grogu, I think it's fine and could have been worse.

All the other shows will be trash.

Why not bring back SLJ or Neeson for a Jedi series? Why not have a series about Darth Plagueis and Palaptine and Maul before TPM? These morons have no clue what will sell.

As the Mandalorian showed us, the ability to put titantium colons in Snipers means nobody ever really dies.

Also, could we see proto-snoke clones? Like can only Palpatine impregnate a snoke with his essense, or could we see Maul impregnate his force in a proto-snoke clone? Are snoke clones exclusive usage ?

Can't wait until we get a TV series about it...

Ashoka: Looking forward to it ONLY because of ObiWan-Vader and how she was portrayed on Mando

Rogue Squadron: Not interested

Rangers of the High Republic: Not interested

Bad Batch: Not interested

WandaVision: Looking forward to it

Yeah I can drop off the MCU right after BW I am good don’t even need WV so yeah still iffy. I do need to own that BW movie in my MCU collection though.

Just give me one more bad ass Blade movie I don’t even need MCU X-Men or F4.

With SW I will be happy with Mando and ObiWan.

There are hardcore star wars fans in here. They believe in Kennedy and her continued oversight of Star Wars. To them, shows that can replicate the joy of Rise of Sky-walker is all they need, and will throw Favreau to the wind.

Marvel is plowing forward, but all star wars can do nowadays is squeeze in movies and shows between other movies and shows. 'OH LOOK, we have a 3 year period here we havent covered, lets do a show about it.'

So much dilution that nothing stands out worthy of discussion other than the already highly expected Obi limited series.
