Lucasfilm knows about the voice hate so they clearly altered his Mando voice to be more in line with ESB but still TM just less twang and guess what it worked.

His current voice sounds great actually.

Shame girls can kick his ass lol

Does anyone? It was one of the crimes of those films which I happened to bring up in the past few days here but hardly the only reason to write them off if one is inclined to do so.

Oh well that was probably why it was fresh in my mind when addressing the writers' alleged mishandling of the OT heroes. I didn't have a specific person in mind that I was referring to, hell if anything I was probably just reminding myself why the big three not appearing together wasn't worth getting too bent out of shape about, lol. :)

I know he sounded so badass when threatening Bo Katan while being flipped through a table, lol.

Boba Fett is just a mediocare mando warrior, let's be honest. Sure he can take out a platoon of storm troopers, but put him up against another mandalorian or god forbid Han Solo with a stick, and the guy is toast.

All this talk about the ST just made me want to revisit them in 3D while I remain on my covid lockdown lol

I’m knocking them out in one day :yess:

Celebrate the TROS anniversary.

He's not even a Mandalorian, is he? He's just born to one. Not even born, grown.

-He wears the armor
-he has a similar moral code
-he is a bounty hunter like Mando
-he teams up with other Mandos, like Mando does.
-he gets into scuffles with other Mandos, like Mando does.
-he takes guardianship of others as part of his creed
-And his father was basically a Mando, which means its like having a Jewish mother, your Jewish.

I mean if it quacks like a Mando, and wears beskar, I am calling it a Mando.

If the show meant to imply he isnt a Mandalorian, they did a poor job demonstrating it. I mean Mando is suppossed to be a hardcore fanatic mandalorian, and nowadays he takes his helmet off so often that even Boba blushes.

Make sure to put Battlefield Earth on afterwards, it sits well after you get the taste of ST in your mouth.

Just watched the Ahsoka episode again. Hmm, that one just might be my favorite after all.

She's even more fun to watch in action than Luke.

Cool parallel between Mando carrying Grogu back into his ship at the end while Grogu looks back at a smiling Ahsoka compared to Luke carrying Grogu down the hall as he looks back at a crying Mando.

I die. I laugh and I die. :rotfl

To be fair, it wasn't just any Mandalorian that made him submit, but the Deadly Koska Reeves, who is superior to him in every way. :D

This is why Boba needs that crying chair. He has some issues to work through.

Which of course, all supports what we saw in the show; he followed Din and attached himself to his cause because he idolizes him as the bounty hunter he wishes he was. Part of his complex and flawed character arc.

Oh we're back to that now are we, lol.

So be it...bastard. ;)

Just excited to see Favreau and company continue with this deeply psychological character study of a man trying to find himself after decades of lies and fraud. I mean he's basically the Don Draper of Star Wars now. :D

One of the reasons I don't bother engaging you Ducky is because you have absolutely zero interest in finding common ground. Rather than celebrating the fact that the Mandalorian is bridging fans between the various trilogies and helping some naysayers see things in a different light you make up stupid crap like the post above just to fan the flames of a bickering atmosphere. Nobody who ever had a problem with midichlorians suddenly *likes* them for heaven's sake. But it is worth noting when a show can take a negative and make it more acceptable so kudos always for that.

There's just too much to love across the different eras and a lot of us are just having way too much fun being a fan to bother with petty nonsense. If I were you I'd be thrilled that so many people are looking forward to shows featuring your favorite characters and not trying to actively get under those same people's skins. I recommend just chilling out and enjoying the party.

How many times did I prove your arguments wrong, link articles, presented facts, and instead of “finding common ground” you decided to just be stubborn, double down, and continue trolling?

No self-awareness whatsoever.

Holy crap I just finished binging Chapters 5, 6, and 8 back to back (Ahsoka, Fett, Luke.) You really don't need the Mayfeld ep if you just want to binge those three heavy hitters in a row since Chapter 6 ends with the same crew that begins Chapter 8. It also allows Mando's face reveal to Grogu to have more punch IMO.

All I can say is WOW. Wow, wow, wow that felt like a whole new badass trilogy in and of itself! So much goodness with Ahsoka, Fett and Luke, Mando vs. the Dark Trooper and Gideon and then the one/two punch of Grogu's tearful farewell and Fett taking the throne.

So freaking awesome. :thud:

Oh but how can you pass up that excellent episode with the transport chase... and then the showdown between that jackass Imperial and jackass Burr. It's so excellent. Plus you get that sonic bomb finale.

Nope that episode can be sacrificed for the greater good of a tight trilogy.

Look at Wor-Gar wanting his Alien Quadrilogy.

I find the choreography and aesthetics of both Ahsoka and Luke scenes to be quite different yet both very satisfying.

But one similarity Ahsoka intro very foggy and concealing while Luke very clear hallways yet also concealed in his robe.
