Rioting is wrong period and there should be consequences. But you can't condone or ignore it on one side and condemn it on the other.

Idk if people were ignoring it. They just understood that one side was upset about racial injustice while the other side was upset that orange man lost and feel the election was stolen. It?s a touchy subject that will sink the thread so I?m just gonna say some people are just angry at the state of the world and feel the voice is unheard. However lots of people were there to cause trouble and not fight for what they believe in on both sides

Was wrong on the chosen death one but again the Hello there is specifically the rots quote

Another reason why I know you don?t leave your safe space on the forum . Look up hello there on YouTube and tell me the first thing you see

Hmm, it does seem to have more prominence.

But I can guarantee Ewan was knowingly channeling Alec Guinness with that delivery.

What does stealing, breaking, burning, and violently attacking business owners have to do with racial injustice?

Now now fellas lets not go down this rabbit hole stick to the script lol

I know it’s tempting but so is watching AOTC straight thru....you must resist!

How about that cgi Luke...almost as bad ass as TLJ Luke wasn’t he.

You know it’s the end of the world when i’m the voice of reason lol

Exactly. Nothing. Its wrong.

Makes as much sense as stealing, breaking, burning, and violently attacking police and congress people over a fraudulent election without the fraud.

:duff All the madness needs to stop. I would like to see society return/get to a place where decency and hard work are lauded and rewarded. Less excuses and more self accountability.

Yep this isn't the place, I'll stop.

I don?t know. One sounds like a greeting and the other sounds like a taunt . But idk maybe so

Too bad Lucas didn't add that line in other places like he did Vader's NOOOOO. I can see it now:

Ben finds Vader standing before him in the Death Star corridor: Well hello there...

:lol

He could shift in his seat too, extra creepy.

Also:

Ben: Well hello there.
Trooper: How long have you had these droids?

Ben: Well hello there... this one's not worth the effort.

:lol

Or randomly add that voice clip to the interior shot of Vader's TIE right as he's about to blast Luke in the trench.

"I have you now."

"Hello there."

"Whaat?"

*scrapes the TIE next to him, spins out of control*

Or instead of saying "Use the Force, Luke" while Luke's making his trench run Obi-Wan just says "Well hello there", startling Luke so much he crashes his X-Wing and dies. The Death Star destroys Yavin IV. The End. Star Wars is one and done - No ESB, NO ROTJ :(

Also, no PT. :yess:

If you are just soley basing on toy sales then yeah ST will be buried....for now

Because heed my word PT younglings one day the ST will rise out from the ashes as the younglings from that era will crown it king of all SW but unlike the PT resurgence their glorious praises will actually have a leg to stand on as Hamill, Ford and Fisher will bring a level of legitimacy that far surpasses Ian McDiarmid being in the PT and who also was in the ST as well!

Nah. Unlike the ST. The PT had great support, various video games, shows and books to maintain its popularity. Also nobody gives a crap about Luke and them in that movie cause they had **** all to do but die. Stop being a cheerleader and learn facts. If kids don?t like it now they def won?t like it in the future. I see kids everywhere quote the PT lines.

You have chosen death
I have the high ground
And hello there.

Memes everywhere dedicated to PT and cosplay and discussion. Take a step outside the forum bubble and look around Twitter, Reddit, tik tok, YouTube and even Facebook and you?ll see.

Kids aren?t dumb they know when something sucks.

That?s like saying soon ghostbusters 2016 will rise and overthrow the original even tho it didn?t sell the first time. Unrealistic thinkinging.

If I want to see Luke I?ll watch his compelling journey on the OT. Not be a defeated loser who hides in a rock

I have said this before.. but its a SW thread so I will say it again.

I am not so sure that the ST were emerge as the Great SW trilogy some think it is because the kids who were young will grow up and like the PT generation profess their love and defend the ST tooth and nail.

The reason is...

OT and PT just had ZERO competition.

The OT was something truly special. Nothing was even close.. Add to the fact toys that were tied to the movie to increase out fascination with the films. SW was everywhere nothing was there at the same scale to fight for kids attention.. Maybe Pong :lol

Fast forward 16 years.. PT. Again almost zero competition. The closest thing at the time was LOTR but lets face it.. Those are not movies for kids.. I would have loved it but at 3+ hours long per movie the younger kids probably have trouble focusing on a film series like that. Plus the PT hit at the early moments of the truly great gaming revolution.

Imagine if the OT and PT had other films like the Marvel / Harry Potter / Transformers / Pixar and then through on the huge amounts of gaming and social media. My son who is 12 hardly played with toys himself (believe me I tried) and non of his friends did. Its just not the same today as it was.

If there was never any SW films until say 5 years ago.. Meaning a Modern OT.. Does anyone think any of us would be as awe struck?

So I will be very surprised if the the ST gains a ton of steam. I think its possible that it wont be looked at as harshly but I dont see it getting the 2nd wind that the PT gets.

As for kids not being dumb and knowing when something sucks.. Well Jar Jar, Barney, and the Tella Tubies might have something to say about that.... Weird they we all huge around the same time.. Whats up with the PT generation :lol

;) ;) ;)

You just reminded me of one of my proudest moments as a father. It was @1993 and I was running a bit late picking up my son from daycare after work. When I arrived all the kids & parents lined the perimeter of the rec room where a guy dressed up as Barney was entertaining them. When my son saw me at the door he crossed the room at a diagonal (walking right past Barney as he did so) to reach me. When I asked "Don't you want to stay and watch Barney?", he replied "Nah, let's go home. Barney stinks - I like T-Rex!" Only he didn't say stinks. :lol
