That ending of Rebels was awesome, tying Ezra's comments to Sabine together. I remain impressed at the writing of that show.Ezra Bridger's whereabouts are unknown - he disappears into hyperspace with Grand Admiral Thrawn and what's left of his Imperial fleet at the end of the "Rebels" series (set before ROTJ). So Ezra isn't in ROTJ because people literally don't know where he is.
The very end of the "Rebels" series (set post ROTJ) shows Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren preparing to go off searching for them both (which is all but guaranteed to form the plot of the upcoming "Ahsoka" series). Hence why Ahsoka asks the ruler of Calodan in Mando S2 "where is your Master?! Where is Grand Admiral Thrawn?!".
For Mando 3:
Grogu cuteness! Tropes! Advertising Rebels with the *&^%$ space whales (but it was cool anyway, wondering if Grogu can communicate with animals like Ezra learned), rehash of Han dodging asteroids only not, creepy watching IG like Terminator crawling on the floor, a bitter Bo-Katan, space pirates (e.g. Rebels/Aksoka, selling that hard....), even the Cara debacle was neatly dealt with (tho I will never get over it, and since Filoni is waffling about the character in interviews have the tiniest hope Disney/Lucasfilm will quit being *&^%$ by the end), the Armorer being badass and the dynamic between her and Din for me remains interesting (is she playing the long game, secretly all along positioning Din D'jarin to rule Mandalore and bring the Mandalorians together).
Putting pieces on the board after the lllllllooooonnnng hiatus. I had a wonderful time.
TBH think some of the folks *&^%$ on YT are just doing the usual trashing of anything successful.
First the lovefest, then the nitpicking, then it's over and it's the greatest thing evah.
Well, unless it's the Obi show, that needs an actual reboot along with Obi getting smacked by Qui-Gon for losing his Way.
