Well. I don't want to crash the party, so I'll be brief. I know I'll be in the small minority here...

That was awful. Looked rushed, cheesy effects, badly staged action. Choppy script. I actually checked the time during the episode...for those who are concerned it's only 30 minutes, fear not...it's the longest 30 minutes you'll spend. But Grogu is ADORABLE.

Mando talks too much and it's mostly to explain things. The forced Marvel-like humor was terrible. Navarro has morphed into Galleria's Edge. The Frick people were pure cringe. But Grogu is ADORABLE. The IG side story was insufferably WTF. The pirates looked like they were wearing Don Post masks (no insult to Don Post meant) and the lead one looked and sounded like he came from Galaxy Quest (a MUCH BETTER movie). Everything just felt route and forced. The Fav-Fil group is going to totally embrace the cartoons. Ok. So much for creating something new and different. Easier to just coast and produce content. But Grogu is ADORABLE.

It's only one episode in so far, but...it looks like Mando has gone full Disney Channel kid's show here. The first season may have been the best after all.
I'll wait till a few more drop to watch any more. I get it that there is an audience for this and it's now the Disney Star Wars flagship. And if that's the case, I'll pass. It's a topsy-turvy galaxy indeed when I actually LIKED the cartoon this week (Bad Batch) better than the flagship show.

Did I mention Grogu is ADORABLE?

ADORABLE.

Don't be to afraid to go there...

There is no Mythosaur perse, yet If you must, they are referencing the bizarre JG Mœbius(ish) cartoon portion, which first introduced Boba Fett to the world. And besides ESB, Holiday Special animated segmant might be Fett's only appearance where he actually is a badass, and not a complete bumbling fool.
So that is somewhat worth watching^
Yet as you've likely heard, avoid (or navigate around) the rest.
There are edits that take out all the "variety show" elements, and just keep the story of Chewie getting home for life day. Which is a somewhat charming story in itself.

OK, so are we supposed to believe that a robot that set off a charge in its own chest large enough to completely atomize itself and a platoon of Stormtroopers as well, is somehow intact enough to rebuild? Huh....I hope somebody got fired for that blunder. What's next....telling us that giant pieces of the Death Star, including the Throne Room, landed safely and completely intact on the surface of a planet?

I need to see that cartoon again…forgot Luke and Han were actually in it

Well…didn’t they just show that the only remains of IG were his chest and head

Yeah....the chest that VIOLENTLY EXPLODED into a million tiny little pieces!
Yes, as I recall the self destruct charge WAS located in his chest, was it not? Or did he pull it out before it exploded? It's been a while....

LOL ... I went in with very low expectations, hence my general lack of salinity save a pinch here and there for Filoni, that dirty rat and hack. :lecture

But Grogu is ADORABLE.
He should be killed off.

Mando talks too much and it's mostly to explain things
Agreed.

Navarro has morphed into Galleria's Edge.
:ROFLMAO:

The Frick people were pure cringe.
Sure were. But Disney wants to recoup their R&D on that character.

But Grogu is ADORABLE.
How many combat zones can the little green varmint survive? He should be killed off.

The IG side story was insufferably WTF.
Pretty much, but ... no one's ever really gone. Certainly not droids. And Zombie Droids are TIGHT.

The pirates looked like they were wearing Don Post masks (no insult to Don Post meant)
Fair. #killgrogu (no offense).
But Grogu is ADORABLE.
Incinerate it.

It's more or less what I expected.

The only thing worse than that show in my eyes is a whole lot of other Disney Star Wars content.

Did I mention Grogu is ADORABLE?

ADORABLE.
Time to kill him off. Blast him, eat him, stab him, blow him up. Whatever it takes.

Now I think about it…he did put in his hand instead so that explains how it was salvageble

now the IG droid has to be brought back aswell? Heck why not also bring back the Ugnaught we liked, it'd be no more implausible.
This one makes sense to me. First he’s been gone a whole season so it’s not like he came back straight away. And Mando has a distrust of droids so it makes sense that if he needs one he would think of IG-11. So there is an internal SW universe logic to it. Bringing back Kuiil would be more implausible because he is organic and IG isn’t.
