I wouldn't be mad if this was the end of the show, the final shot perfectly wraps everything up. No loose ends.

That off-center iris shot was definitely an odd choice.

For real though.....WHY was last week's episode called "The Spies??" WHY? We only saw ONE spy the entire time, the Imperial lady. And today's title..."The Return." Which one? There were several.

Shouldn't last week's have been THE SPY and this week's THE RETURNS??

And in a season full of pointless, meaningless filler, doesn't the Coruscant episode seem especially ridiculous now in hindsight seeing as how it as 40 minutes of set up that resulted in absolutely nothing and had zero bearing on the story at all??

Yeah the whole killing the doctor episode was a waste!

I genuinely could not give two ***** what the episode titles are :lol.

Titles matter. If they didn't matter, why do they show them? Details are important.

This show used to be all about details. Now it's one of those "ah, just turn your brain off and enjoy it" shows.

"But....that robot sacrificed itself in season one. It was dramatic. It had an effect on the story and the characters."

"Ah shut up man, the funny robot is funny. I like his silly voice. Just turn your brain off and enjoy the ride."

Doesn’t matter to me, I’m on my phone when the title card pops up. Only care what’s in the episode itself.

I agree, but I don’t care about the titles. Not losing any sleep over them.

Well...
I'm happy about Mando's fate and IMO it left the door wide open for Din to continue being a gunslinger, hook up with his bro pals Boba etc., maybe find Grogu or Din Gro's parents, and be there for Filoni's big mashup film. All is as it should be instead of Din sitting around in Mandalore. Also finally Din got back to being badass. Plenty of Imperials around scheming plus, Thrawn and his minions including Gideon's spy on Coruscant.
All is well in my world for now. 😁
Well said. I also liked that he had some badass moments again, I nearly forgot he can fight. 😅

I know I'm just being petulant here, and the wipes/iris shots are part of SW tradition. All I'm saying is the sloooow zoom in like that felt more like Little Rascals than SW.
