Well, yeah, tho I'm more tolerant than some...Seemed like a soft reboot there. Okay with that if it means the the Din's adventures get back to being more episodic and away from these big overwrought, rushed "arcs". Also got the vibe that...if it needed to be, it could be the "exit" for Din...the series finale. Buys the house outside of town, wanders into the mall once in a while for photo ops with the kiddies... (oh wait...that's already at Galleria's Edge)
'coz, mercifully it looks like Mando is back to being Mando, or Mando+Grogu, and the lone gunslinger coming to terms with having his life overturned etc. was what attracted me to the series in the first place.
And, a few years ago, who knew what would happen with this series. F&F toiling away; the Volume was an experiment; and how many series/films have tried to piggyback on original material and crashed and burned in their own cheap lameness. I remain impressed F&F managed to successfully introduce significant new characters to the SW universe, and mercifully avoiding pitfalls like a Tumblr level Mando romance and *&^% like that. I'm not against romance, but there ought to be some build-up and reasoning behind it.
But with the series success there's the bloating like the MCU, with Disney seeing dollar signs, and more series which may or may not succeed. IMO for Mando it's a good set-up for Din D'jarin to be a troubleshooter and participate in this big crossover mashup film, which probably will heavily feature Ahsoka, and Luke even. I'm satisfied, plenty of doors left open. PS, it's time Din got one of those shield things, unless Grogu is gonna go all Matrix and be able to stop blasters.

Thank *&^% I don't have to barbecue all my Mando stuff in shame. Dodged a bullet there. I still debate selling my Kylo #1 and Rey #1. They're nice figs, but there's what came after.
