:exactly: I wanted to shoot that Doctor character with 15 blasters if I could and Captain Teva was so annoying ..they gave him so much screen time but his character produced absolutely nothing..Honestly I think Filoni had a bromance with the actor , which is why they kept bringing him back
That episode was completely pointless. A waste of time.

Well I wouldn’t say pointless…the theory was the Doctor refined the Gideon clones and then they wiped his brain of the knowledge…but again…who gives a F#### about that guy

I'd add also it showed how Kane imbeds herself into the New Republic governing structure, tho don't know if they just drop her or she ends up trying to hook up with other baddies.
Who knows, maybe she's some sicko who knows where a spare clone is and wants to re-create, which means she really (*&% up frying Pershing. :lol
We don't even know if Pershing is dead, actually.
I thought it was a well done episode, slow build, but not one I feel I need to watch again.
But Fennec really needs to pay Kane a visit.:007

The live action world of Bo seems so distant from Ashoka…be we all know because of Filoni , we will see Bo involved in the Ashoka series somewhere down the line …It’s such a bizarre thought

But they were allies in CW, I figure at least part of building Bo up all season was because if she is head of a Mandalorian army, it would give Ahsoka at least a chance to take on Thrawn and his minions, eventually. Doesn't seem like a lot of the New Republic would be much help. E.g. F & F are trying to set up for that big end battle - which apparently will be a fail, since the New Order shows up anyway. Maybe. Sounds like the end of the PT, so everyone has to sit around again waiting for the arrival of Rey. :monkey3

It’s so odd how with the ending of S3 and now we shift to Ashoka and Thrawn and the future …I feel how out of place the OBI WAN series seems and that was a short time ago

Maybe the OBI series should’ve been made before the Mando series started..seems like a different world

In an anthology show, that slow, pointless episode about Imperial biscuits and space ice cream would have been a lot more acceptable. Coruscant is the perfect setting. You could literally tell any story, any genre there.

Wacky comedy about a bunch of aliens running a restaurant?

Teen romance drama about a kid from the lower levels falling in love with an upper society kid?

A former Imperial hitman fed up with the life of violence joins an acting troupe but finds he can't escape his past?

The possibilities are endless.
Not to mention what an effective way it would be for Diz to gauge what fans/viewers would really be interested in w/o having to sink a huge budget into a whole season of a series. If something rings all the bells for an episode, try one more - if that keeps and grows interest, then consider a show.

Songs will be written where this season went wrong, but in the end... it was okay. Arguably a show that's such a cultural touchstone in a lot of ways just being okay is not okay, but I won't get into that.

I don't really hate anything about the season but it ultimately feels like someone had to take footage shot for three different shows without any transitions or reshoots and turn them into one show somehow. Just as TBOBF feels more like Tales of the Bounty Hunters, Mando S3 feels more like Tales from the New Republic.

It's kind of amusing that the big story that interrupted father/son bounty hunting adventures kind of got an anti-climactic ending that doesn't feel as truly momentous as the moment really is. A bunch of narrative cliffhangers that are hopefully resolved sooner than later.

It's also amusing that it's like they foresaw the issues some would have with moving away from Din and Grogu this season and addressed it with that ending. Which hopefully is a sign of what's to come that will make those people happier. That was a conveniently tied narrative ribbon on a package if I've ever seen one.

What!!!!o_Oo_Oo_O

This show can't end until I get what I want.
1) Mando and Grogu kicking a lot of Imperial/Inquisitor butt.
2) The ultimate Dirty Dozen team-up of Mando, Boba, Fennec, Cobb, Mayfield (and Cara).
3) Mando and Grogu having a meltdown e.g. Grogu having to return to the Jedi and/or his parents, because of his long life span and really needing to train in the Force more:monkey2 also he needs to learn to talk.
4) Mythosaur and those shriek-hawks (which need to be moved to Mandalore)
5) Someone sticking a fork into that *&^%% Elia Kane.
6) And that epic crossover with Mando and Grogu kicking butt and blowing Imperials out of the sky in the N1 along with entire cast of Ahsoka, preferably watched in a high end theater with dinner. I'll get the souvenir popcorn bucket.😬

It'll be more perfect when Mando get together with his friends. I think Fennec should take out Elia Kane. Also, they should put Rasta Tusken and IG into Mando's posse. It'd be like Conan the Barbarian 2 or Expendables. They could be rescuing Carson Teva or something.

Look at this guy thinking he is gonna get one tenth of that. Beautiful dreamer, thats what he is.

I am annoyed that we never got Din Djarin, Manda'lor in his royal armor and its never gonna happen either, damn it.

Instead we get a himbo who bathes in the Sacred Waters wearing a whole-@ss flight suit AND A HELMET. This makes not a lick of sense along with so much else this season. How can you get cleansed of your sins fully dressed, I ask you.

One thing though, I got through all this and Thrawn never actually showed up in this show.

They could've just shot, stabbed, smothered, strangled or poisoned him. Talk about over elaborate.

MVP in today's finale definitely calling Grogu name, the kid felt like a forced cheat code :dunno... much worse, Hot Toys just released another 1:1 of Grogu:pfft:
I'm a 50ish year old man and I freakin' loved the Grogu stuff. I think the connection between Din and Grogu gives the show heart. I thought the finale was a lot of fun and that Grogu flexing his force muscles was an expected, but enjoyable part of that. It's all leading to an eventual 100 year old Grogu series...which I'm also here for!

Didn't really like the next to last episode. Thought it moved way too fast.

Finale was pretty good! I also liked the Grogu/Din story.

I do think pacing was a huge issue this season. I was fine with the side quests, I really liked the droids episode. It was fun. I don't need every episode to directly tie into the big story thread of the season. But the timing of episodes and where those chose to stop and start was an issue. The last 2 episodes should have been one.

Seeing all those tie interceptor/bomber shots just made me want an Alliance X-Wing show so much more.

Problem with mando on mando fights, even in clone wars, is that is just dissolves into jetpack and rocket fights all across the screen.

Yeah, the finale is getting a lot of love but is it worth the effort to get there?
Honestly all I need are the last 2 episodes which when put together are pretty damn entertaining and just as high quality swashbuckling SW as was seen in S1 and S2.

The flying Mandalorians battle was straight out of my kids brain when I first heard the words “The Clone Wars” in 77.

I would sit around at home daydreaming that exact scenario play out in my mind.

Then having Mando go full Batman Wick in it and making Gideon look super bad *** just solidified it for me that the last 2 episodes were wonderfully stunning and entertaining.

I give S3 a pass because of the 2 last episodes.

Is that fair, nope.

Do I care, nope lol
