Well, Baze shot a dazed trooper in the head when he stirred on the ground in Rogue One ? after Chirrut gave them all a stick beating.

The Stormtrooper On Fire was further than I thought they would go.

Thats not a dude making the Mandos beskar armor and also seems to have authoritative sway over the rest of the clan.
Anita has a one note agenda and couldn?t wait to bang her drum and be relevant again.
She also doesn’t seem to be aware of Gina Caranos casting or is just incredibly impatient.

Who is Anita Sarkeesian lol

[...]

She?s a real drag. LOLOLOL

Glibness aside, I think she?s an example of someone who wants to shoehorn representation into every minute of everything heedless of storytelling.

Also an example of someone who needed something to tweet about in an attempt to garner engagement.

The Mandalorian metalsmith ? clearly a figure of skill and authority ? is female. When Cara Dune shows up, we?ll have a brutal badass killer who happens to be female. A believable one by the looks of things.

These episodes are 30-38 minutes long and punctuated by moody silences and bleak expanses.

Every single episode doesn?t need to check every single box. That?s how you *ahem* ? subvert storytelling.

How could anyone miss that the armorsmith is a woman?
And a woman that the rest of the clan has great respect for.

Hey Anita... Unita stfu. I have enough headache from my wife talking....

As someone already noted, I could have done without that cheesy flying salute. But loved how Mando did not return it, just looked.

I loved his Batman 89 Joker line of I have to get me one of those lol

I like how sinister the Imperial leader played by Herzog is. He was darker and more threatening than any villain from the Sequels. His dirty Stormtroopers didn't have a chance, but neither did the other bounty hunters. I bet we did't hear the last from him and the other hunters.

Honestly I could?ve done without the War Machine military hand salute from the flying Mando but if I just accept it as a homage to Favreau connection to the MCU I can tolerate it.

Same. Just a little bit too much. Especially after they attacked Mando back at the headquarters.

I?m not going to dread it or stress out over it because if they found a way to actually make those dreadful romper room level PT characters into palatable characters then i?m sure the ST characters will be given the same treatment over time going forward.

I can work with PT references because those films, although crap, tell a worthwhile story. You can just pretend the silly stuff didn't happen and that the meat of said story played out better. :lol

:lecture

And if it does then there's an infinite amount of other 'representation' that also wasn't seen.

Sigh. I don't know how these people enjoy anything ever when they're constantly on the lookout for what's not there.

He is a great villain. I am sure we Will se more of him.

True. And an impressive character she is. Great helmet design. Made me think, imagine Mandalorians were traveling the universe from the beginning if time, and actually influenced the ancient Greeks :)

IMO it's a bit premature to call him a great villain; so far all he's really done is hire a bounty hunter. But the potential is definitely there, so I hope you're right about seeing more from him. Hopefully we'll see him interacting with "the client" along with performing a few other nefarious acts. :lol

Actually I took it as Herzog was the one who activated all the other bounty hunter beacons once Mando attacked his base.

Wasn't that actually a Jim Gordon Batman Begins line?

Nicholson Joker said ''where does he get those wonderful toys?''

Oh wait 89 Joker said - why didn?t someone tell me he had one of those things -

My bad DiFabio would be disgusted with me.....even more lol

Hey did everyone catch the cool BB homage!

So did the Mandos raze the entire town to the ground to cover their tracks after initiating House Party Protocol? :horror

I like the idea of them normally only coming out one at a time to hide their numbers. Very "What Happened to Monday" even though they clearly have distinct armor and body types, lol.
