All-time favorite would have to be...

Everything from Opiate to 10,000 Days. Can't wait for their next album.

Also a big fan of Rammstein, though their '90s stuff is far superior to their last two albums (Reise, Reise was great, though).

I liked A Perfect Circle a lot more actually, Tool is cool, but I never really got into them,

A Perfect circle is another story, Loved every single song they made, some of the songs were really amazing, Thirteenth Step was one of my favorite Cds I've ever got, is one of those disks where you love every song (Another cd like that for me was MUSE Absolution, Loved every single song)
I like some Tool songs, but I do wish they continued with APC too, made me sad when they stopped doing stuff with that band :monkey2

Seems like you were saving that picture for the perfect moment. Unfortunately this wasn't it. Maybe try later.

:lol

I was really into Tool back in grade 9 around when Undertow came out and later on picked up Ænima and loved that album as well, and then came Lateralus and i lost interest in the band.

APC have a couple good songs off the first album but..meh. I seem to really tire of mainstream music even if i like a song or two..it only lasts a few days or week at most then i look for better stuff.

yeah I understand, I just wish they didn't stop APC completely, I personally loved their songs and while they were mainstream, I've never really heard songs like that before, Yes I heard similar soft rock before of course, but APC had a special something, I kinda wish they kept working on songs for that band,

I love APC myself. Melancholy goes a long way with me, so APC is always appreciated. I wouldn't consider them mainstream by any stretch of the imagination, though. That combination of metal and melodrama is beautiful... but not accessible, oddly enough. The 'mainstream' crowd is confusing like that.
I, too, would like more from them. Particularly a studio recording of 'By & Down.'

The way I got into Tool was rather strange (similar to the way I got into NIN, actually). I started with their latest release and went backwards. After a couple listens, I was actually hooked on their whole catalogue, but for different reasons with each album, obviously.

I followed tool since sober was first out and I think their last 2 albums are their best, personally. But I've always been more into their prog influences than the alternative side.

Yea, i remember seeing these girls open for Type O Negative, Fear Factory,Coal Chamber and Powerman 5000 back in 97 and they were alright.

Crappy live recording of In Praise of Bacchus by Type O from that same show i was at, was hell of a good time though.

Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest

WHY?! HMM, I guess you have to listen to them to realize it, that's All i can say. My favorite concert was and will always be the 1997 Bruce Dickinson tour for his killer album "Accident of Birth" as this was my first time seeing him along with Adrian Smith, in addition to that i did get the guitar pick of Roy Z.

And this is one of my favorite songs of that album.
