Too high for you? I personally, can't stand the "brutal" or overly deep vocals. I can deal with occassional screaming or cookie monster.

I totally agree man, I feel the same. Personally, I think guys like Kreator, Anacrusis, Morbid Saint, Sepultura, Death etc. sound "brutal"....the "cookie monster" stuff, not. Obviously opinions vary, the above types just sound good to my ears.

Ok, just listened to Radiance. First off: Jesus H. those are some loooong azz songs! Unfortunately the singer is not at all my cup of tea.

lol.

When I first heard them I hated the vocals and it really ruined the band for me but after hearing it more and more it has really grown on me.
They are long ass songs but really epic too.

Thanks for bringing Psyopus to my attention dude!
Love it!

Craziest I can think of is

All for different reasons.

Yup, just too high for me. I like the cookie monster ;-) the bree pig is also good fun in small doses ;-)

IMO the best vocalists are the ones with the biggest range and that mix it up instead of constantly using one style. Probably too low for your guys taste but the vocalist from All Shall Perish has great range and usually never gets boring. I also really like Randy from Lamb of God. The guy from The Human Abstract's last album is also really good. He's got growls and screams but he also sings clean very well. THA are just the perfect mix of technical metal and melody.

lol yeah, Psyopus are just something else.

I can't see most of the vids (prob not allowed in Germany) but Necrophagist kick ass and the vocalist of Cattle Decapitation is just down right scary. They've also got some pretty good lyrics.

That is why Travis Ryan was featured.
Check out Monolith of Inhumanity.
Honestly the range he has is unbelievable and for this album he even does some crazy singing type stuff!

Can't go wrong with Randy!

Mikael from Opeth is definitely up there too in terms of range.

Jason from Akercocke has an amazing voice too.

Got to give some credit to Dani Filth.
I know he is like marmite but he can do some amazing things with his voice.

Hevy Devy gets a mention as he can do it all IMO.

The Corpsegrinder has an awesome high shriek too but the king of lows might have to go to

If Satan had a voice.......:)

Nothing major.

It was Glen Benton of Deicide/Vital Remains fame.

Song was Homage for Satan but also check out Dechristianize!

Glen lives here in Tampa, lol. Ive also seen the singer for Cannibal Corpse at Target one day. My friend and I were laughing. If anyone remembers Morrisound Studios from the 90's back when Tampa was pretty much the Death Metal capital...far from it now.

The guy's defiately got the low growl down. He just doesn't mix it up enough for me. Lovin the guitars on Dechristianize though!

You've got to check out Brace Legs from Born of Osiris. It's a short song so it shouldn't be a biggy for you ;-) During the last 10 or 20 seconds one of the most brutal parts I've ever heard comes - I think you'll know to appreciate it ;-)

Not really got much to do with metal but since you like crazy stuff check out "Igorrr" and "Whourkr". Total sonic insanity!!!

Sweet!

George is a BEAST!

He is also one of the friendliest guys ever too!

Dude, all of those suggestions were awesome!

I like Aphex Twin a lot and this is the metal equivalent!

Thanks for sharing man.

Keep them coming!

I'm sure you are familiar with The Faceless - An Autopsy
Anaal Nathrakh - Do Not Speak for those days when you just need to let off some steam! (You might like parts of this Jack!)
Have you heard of Arsis - Shattering The Spell

Yeah like "what did you have for breakfast" and similar ones :lol

Aphex Twin is another great one. I like "brutal" electro music. Don't shoot me for this and keep it to yourself but I also like a bunch of Skrillex songs :monkey3

The Faceless and Arsis are also great bands. Amazing guitars. I'll have to check out Anaal Nathrakh.

lol so you like my crazies :yess::hi5: I'm calling it a night for now but thread is subscribed so when I think of more I'll def let u know!:1-1:

It's ok to like Skrillex.
His stuff with Korn was pretty good.
The first time I heard Skatta I was blown away!
