That was my point. Aliens, T2, and Predator all much hokier than either Alien or Terminator, IMO. I happen to like them all, but can recognize that they aren't serious films in the way that, say, Alien is, and for some reason figured a board of hard-core geeks wouldn't vote for the cornier mass-targeted films (because stereotyping is so much fun!). Paxton is all cheese in both Aliens and Predator 2, and I personally love him in both.
