So the exclusive Batman figure that set a new record for lack of quality control at HT was less disappointing than Indy?

Well, my Bruce Wayne Bats had zero issues, and I'm more than happy with Indy. The only QC I have with Indy was that his shoelace bent the top of the boot, but since it's under the pants and working fine, I don't really think it's a huge issue.

But this is about the most disappointing, not the worst. and just because it's the best out of the box doesn't make it good - the mid-range customs shown here on the forms are leagues ahead of this release for only a shade more money. Nice photo though - I couldn't help but notice that it looks like Indy's stunt double wearing the well of souls disguise. For me that's really disappointing of an extremely anticipated $250 figure.

Your right I mentioned Indy " not being the worst of the year " but I should of said not being the most disappointing . After reading this thread from page 1 and seeing HT Indy come up over and over again it felt like that was the consensus. I can't customize and although the sculpt is far from Arnie Kim's best , throw in all the accessories, the tailoring of the clothes the diorama's and you've got a very enjoyable piece. But I see your point and it's just my opinion.

For me, its the DX Indy figure. I hesitated for a long time before buying it after seeing the in-hand pics. I told myself the pics may not do the figure justice and it should be better in-hand.

I bought it. Tried to like it but just couldn't do so and eventually re-sold it on eBay for less than the retail price.

The Sideshow ROTLA Indy is still the one for me and I am glad I did not sell it when HT first announced the DX Indy.

It's still the GOD behind the scene BL for me. It's disappointing because EB teased us with a fully covered rubber body ( a dream come true for BL fans) and delivered something not even close to that.

Nuff said.

At least the DX05 actually looks pretty good in person (not 100& but a solid 85%) and everything else is just beautifully done.

Gotta be EB GOD or HT Batman Begins. The rubber suit on the BB is all loose and if you bend and leave joints in a position you get wrinkles. The EB GOD has really cheap foot pegs and the Bruce Head is kind of too big for the body.

The rubber suit wrinkling is a feature inherent to all rubber suit so I wouldn't blame HT for that.

Show me a picture of bb batman from the movie itself where it doesn't wrinkle when he bends his arms.

I think so. My bats has a loose ankle and the same crummy rubber everyone else has, but it looks great on the shelf, and that's what I care most about at the end of the day. Indy. . .just doesn't provide that much based on what I've seen. Ford's likeness is critically important for a display-worthy Indy IMO.

Even though I did not get him, I say the DX Indy has to be in the top spot for "most disappointing". Ford's likeness was key for this figure and I think they failed big time in that aspect of the figure. While many things about it are awesome, this alone has kept me from even considering buying it. I have to imagine bigger Indy fans had to be really disappointed in it.

If the head sculpt came out like the Jack Sparrow DX06, I am not certain which figure would be a close second. I think the Bruce Wayne Batman was actually a good figure...just piss poor quality control.

For me is EB Bruce Lee GOD Behind the Scene, the rubber body is a totally letdown. Hopefully there is a better replacement body in 2012.

Based on the initial price and the near-immediate deterioration of the figure, I'd have to agree with mikecjw.

A three-hundred-plus dollar figure of Bruce Lee that can't be posed without destroying the body ???

HT's Indy sculpt missed the mark, but EB's GoD fiasco is total fail.

The tracksuit and asics are sweet, though.
