4. Anything 3A

I would say the opposite. Of the 4 3A items I have had they were superb.
Awesome paint apps.

Care to elaborate as to why you picked everything from 3A?

WHile I love 3A i think each and every release is just a variant of an already existign figure.

That is why i find them lame, even if I have some and love the style.

While they are nice figures and have great weathering, they are mostly just repaints and variants. They don't suck but aren't anything special = meh.

Theres nothing wrong with Batman. Sure the QC issues were bad but he still makes a good impression. Plus the sculpt is one of HT best

There is a lot wrong with Batman

1. The Batman cowl head is still very inaccurate - you would have thought HT could have improved on it in 3 years since the OC Batman.

2. I actually think the Bale sculpt is nowhere near their best. The hairline is all wrong, the shape of the back of the head is all wrong, the fact that it is neckless makes it look ridiculous IMO. I could go on.

3. The suit is painted for some reason giving it a weird finish which the OC Batman did not have. This paint has been rubbing off on a number of people's figures

4. The massive QC debacle.

5. The suit is inaccurate for a first night display - should have come with a suit without the bat symbol.

6. The cape continues to be pathetic. Anyone with a cutting tool can make a more accurate one at home.

I have a strong feeling anyone who continues to think the HT BB Batman is a really good figure will be having a change of heart once EB show their 1/4 version (kinda like what happened when EB showed their 1/4 T800 )

Eh, I try not to notice the little things. I still think its a great figure and always will regardless of whatever EB come up with.

I did buy 2 of the HT BB figures though, more because I need 2 of the suits for a couple of custom displays I have planned. I'll be selling most of the heads

The Demon is a pretty nice figure, but the head couldve been more accurate

I think SC though is one of the best figures HT has done in their Nolan Batman line

Agreed that clothes are too puffy and head is too round, but the HT version's sculpt overall doesn't look nearly as good IMO.

And the real leather and metal accessories push the EB version ahead for me. But then again i'm no terminator collector.

The HT is a all around better figure IMHO, especially at a smaller scale.

I guess overall from the pictures the EB just looks better to me, despite the puffy clothing.

But I am with you regarding the fact that it's in the wrong scale
1/4 figures... so lame. EB's last resort of trying to compete with HT... but HT is hell bent on shooting them down. Such a waste of resources IMO.

Collectors are struggling to keep up with 1/6 releases both in terms of the money required with ever increasing prices but also in terms of the space. Now with 1/4 figures, space will be at an even greater premium. I can't see myself getting more than 2-3 1/4 figures max.

Yea, the jump to 1/4 is going to sink some people. It's nice to see the extra detail but that scale is just too big unless you just limit youself to a few peices. And who wants to do that.
