No, the Predalien wasnt smart at all. There were 2 times where she shoulda killed the Wolf. In the sewer insted of batting him away, and in the hospital...

The predaliens main objective was to SURVIVE and develop its egg sac while it had enough warriors up and about to protect it. why would it risk getting killed unless it had absolutely no other option but to fight.

I seriously doubt the aliens thought wolf was 'annoying'

Chet inspected the babies at the hospital the same way the original inspected the cat. the alien in the power-plant stalked wolf from below then made its move. and chet also targetted pregnant women because she knew they could hold more bursters. all in all the predalien and aliens made some pretty efficient decisions.

The Aliens did SOME things....but the fact they never fought back when Wolf had them by their throats, or when he held that one to the Wall.

They have big long tails you know...

well that levels the score, because in the first avp celtic could have fought back before the headbite and grid killed chopper with a tail that was 3 times its normal size

Watch closer. Grid had his head, he couldnt movie period. It was in slow motion, but im sure the actual bite happend very quick. Have someone stand on you while holding your head down, and then proceed to lick you. Thats what it would be like.

Still say the Aliens in AVP:R were okay... I mean, they killed a LOT of people.

But they sucked when it came to Wolf, I mean, geez, they were just so in awe of how badass he was.

Well, if they killed off Wolf in the first 10 minutes like it seems a LOT of "Alien FANBOYS" wanted, than there would be no point in calling it ALIENS VS. PREDATOR.

And Predators WERE killed in AvP.

I hated the film, but I loved the concept. I hated the predalien, but I loved the predator. I hated the humans, I wanted all of them to die lol the lighting and cinematography sucked bad, atleast anderson can light and shoot a good action scene. there were some cool things in the movie, and alot of bad things. most of my problems comes with the predalien, I just didn't like the design, nor the thought of it going around infecting pregnet women, and I hated seeing that even more, for some reason, that just turned me off, bad. I really prefer the first AVP, atleast the action scenes were better in that one, even though they ruined the queen for me

i think one thing we could all agree on is that there should have been more Predators, it was a cool idea to have one uber pred go clean up the mess but it would have been kick a$$ if he called in back up and 10 more came down to rape the aliens, but it would only work if the aliens were smarter, witch i do agree, they should have been smarter, they DID dumb them down

I felt the same way seeing that. Probably, because I have a young son and he was a newborn around the release of the movie. But it did turn me off a little.
Someone made a great point earlier when they said there are no surprises with these franchise monsters anymore. What made them so great was we had never seen anything like them before and it was new. Now, so much has been written and put into movies theres just no new surprises anymore. The 2 movies in the AvP franchise weren't that bad for what they were. Entertainment. When you start reading more into it than there is, is when it starts to fail. Sure there were things in both movies fans of both creatures don't like. But the movies are what they are....Popcorn action flicks. And personally, I love seeing both creatures continue their run.

It was very painfull to watch these 2 legendary creatures take place
in the crapest B-grade film of 2007.
The Strause bro's and all others involved took the pis (ADI exempt)
After watching that I realy hope they dont make another unless
Ridly Scott or James Cameron do it, only these guys could redeem
the damage.
