Didn't Deckard start at around $120-$150 when it was first released last year? At the time it was more than I was willing to spend, but now I kinda kick myself for not biting the bullet with him. Now it's $230 plus $30 shipping?!? I shoulda just bought it as an investment!

Think it came in at just over £100.

Yep. I think I got mine for about the same even though I picked one up relatively late.

what!!! :banghead:banghead:banghead

nightmare

congrats for you though dude

will not make the same mistake on batty, you picking him up also bud?

I'm still debating getting a Batty. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

It's probably the best Batty we'll ever see, so I pre-ordered one from the start.

your probably right there. Theres just a few other figures that are more important to me first. I hope I can pick one up in the end.
I still need to order a taxi driver figure from store rooms so when I do I might pick up a Batty too.

Does anybody know how you know wheter something is in stock or not at store rooms ?. They have some dr figures heat figures there that have been sold out for a long time so I'm always wondering if I order something if it could be sold out.

Well, I ordered from them once and the package got lost, they were very quick in answering and sent me a second package free of charge. Also, when I inquired about the Batty figure they answered very promptly, so just shoot them an email, I'm sure they'll answer quickly.

so has anyone got the batty figure in yet? i'm still waitin on my abcexpress preorder for him

great paint job man!!!

did your sculpt have alot of holes etc? apparently mine is literally the last head he cast

I'm sick of reading stuff like that .Just to set the record straight again. I didn't cast these. they were done for me. I didn't want to send anything out that was substandard but the people getting the casts knew that they would have to fill some holes. That was made clear before they were sent out. It was only a personal project so I think that it why a lot of attention wasn't given to the cast.

What a few of ther members here probably didn't tell you was that they were sent a few heads to choose from so they could pick the best one to use. There was also a few Guys who received them as gifts. I was going to revisit this with a newer cleaner sculpt but the interest isn't there. Especially as some of the ____ty emails I received were from Guys I had to say "sorry I don't have any casts" to. As I said I didn't want to send out anything that people wouldn't have been happy to receive.

Manji and myself are definetely happy to have your sculpt. When he mentions it was one of the last heads cast he didn't mean that in a bad way. I thought that was the case myself too. Obviously we were wrong and didn't mean to make your work look bad or anything , we just thought that was the reason there was a few holes and imperfections.
I thought they were heads that had been cast that you didn't end up using but sold them to a few people anyway because more were requested. I guess I presumed this ( although I'm sure I recall reading it on here first myself ) , sorry if that info was wrong and thanks again for selling us the awesome sculpt.
I also binned the other two sculpts once I picked the best from the 3 I received.

Thanks Tay. There were a lot that couldn't be used and were binned. Of the heads that were cast before the mould wasn't worth using there were a small amount that with a little work would have been passable.

As I mentioned I don't even have sculpt for myself , it was given away. If I ever decide to redo the head I'll send out a replacement to those who got a less than perfect sculpt, I didn't want anyone having a figure with a ____ty head in their collection , but as far as timescales go I wouldn't expect one anytime soon ! :lol

Hey Paul. I think Manji was asking about the holes on the sculpt to see what solution I came with to fix them, not to be an a-hole and make you look bad. Mine came with holes as well but I knew this in advance and was I still happy to get it. Plus, those holes were no big deal and easy to fix.
As far as interest, I believe there's a bunch of people who want one. I remember I pm'd you a few months ago asking you for another one for a friend who's not a boardie here. If you ever get more, please let us know.
Thanks again for a great Deckard headsculpt.

Oh ****!!!

Paul i am so sorry that paragraph was not meant to be an offensive one i promise!!!

As commtech suggested it was purely to understand how he went about fixing them, i never meant to offend you and as uscmhicks said i am over the moon to have found one of these sculpts i absolutely adore it!!!

Again i am really sorry if i offended you but seriously that was not my intentions!!!

thanks uscmhicks and commtech for sticking up for me guys

Sorry Manji, my misunderstanding. I wish that you Guys had got better sculpts thats all. I'll try to make it up to you all by revamping Deckard and getting you all a better cast. I've a lot on work-wise at the moment so if you're happy to be a little patient it is possible that I could have something for you in about a month or so.

On a positive note the work I've seen you Guys do with this sculpt pleases me no end.( Snake Eater & Commtech) I'll just have to see if I can torque your figures up a notch more. ;)

Speaking of interest, I would definitely like to have one of your Deckard sculpts, with or without holes in it! I'm still kicking myself for missing out the first time around, so if you do decide to have another run made, by all means count me in. :)

Though you can't get my figure anymore. The sculpt is just a customized
Jim Maddox head available still by Lonnie. Just think how good it would
look if you could get Josh Small to paint it and someone to add the
real mo-hair. :D Just a thought, could add it to the new figures clothes and accessories for something really special
