after what you will have bud would you be interested, i much prefer the custom route dont you

Always prefer custom stuff but if there would be a few parts from a hot toys figure I could buy seperate to upgrade I would. Plus I like to see licensed stuff from older movies such as Blade Runner. :D

great paint job man!!!

did your sculpt have alot of holes etc? apparently mine is literally the last head he cast

It did. He told me it was one of the last casts too. I just filled them up with some elmer's white glue and several layers of paint helped smooth them out a bit. There's still some trace of them but they pass as skin texture.

really impressive paint job nice one dude

I have a feeling they just might this year. They mentioned they would be doing other movie classics.

That would be a neat trick if they got the rights since Sideshow has been pursuing them for years and licensing has been elusive.

Does Hot Toys still do those vague figures like they did with the original Matrix Neo? Maybe they can sneak it in that way!

Ah! They were in the Brothers Production level back then, huh?

Too bad. I would love Hot Toys to tackle Deckard. I kinda regret not having jumped on the last Android Hunter release. I keep an eye out every once in a while on ebay though. I hope to get it someday.

On a side note, I remember when the movie came out in `82 and I was dying to see it since Ford had just come off of Empire and Indy. My mom (wisely) did not let me since I was only 9, but I secured the comic book version of the movie which I obsessively studied and poured over. I finally ended up seeing it a couple of years later on video, and I would tell anyone who would listen to me about how great the movie was. Even through Jr High and High School I tried to get people to watch it. I could never understand the lack of interest in it from my peers. I did see it with a girl friend of mine in High School when they did a screening at my local library (although it was the pan and scan version). And finally in college they released the Director's Cut in the theaters and I was able to drag a few of my friends to it. It's nice to see the movie finally get the recognition I always felt it deserved.
