That had nothing to do with live and EVERYTHING to do with the developers decisions on how to make things work.

Right, because Epic games failure is an issue with Live.

MS certainly doesn't care too much about making Epic work on a fix for this problem. I'd definitely say some of it is their fault. They're collecting the money to "pay for server maintenance and upgrades." Doesn't that mean they should have a say on whether or not the developers should fix known bugs and problems in their games??

I don't usually read the credits of games, but I did this time and noticed that Lance Henrickson voiced the Sheppard character.

Damn I didn't need to read the credits to know that.

the first patch was to have the mature content warning in the beginning of the game. The second patch that was released late last night/early this morning was supposed to fix the trophies that weren't unlocking for a lot of people.

Me too. I knew right away that it was Bishop.

Unfortunately I had to. But I did recognise Keith David straight away though.

I had to look up online who Keith was. I recognized the voice, but couldn't remember who it is.

Finished the campaign. It was great, no doubt about it. But the campaign is no where near as great as the MW1 campaign was. It doesn't top it. The campaign was short, I beat it in about 6 hrs and I was taking my time killing all the enemies and searching for enemy intel (1st play through on regular). I think I even enjoyed the World at War campaign more than MW2. But it still is one of the best campaigns out there.

The best thing about MW2 is the Spec Ops mode. I really like what GoW2 started with Horde, now a lot of these single player games are coming with extra 'mission/enemy wave games' for single and multiplayer. If straight up death match isn't your thing or if you want more than campaign but don't play multiplayer then this is for you. The Spec Op missions are awesome, they are very very fun and very challenging on harder difficulties. I think this is the best part of MW2.

I guess I missed what he has to do with Aliens?

Keith has done a lot of things I recognize him from. He was Goliath in the Gargoyles cartoon, Mary's dad in There's Something About Mary (Franks and Beans!), the Arbiter in Halo, and he's done tons of voice work in lots of cartoons.

He's one of those guys who you see in small parts in films and go "Hey I know that guy! He was in..." Very recognizable voice.

Another amazing night on Modern Warfare! My god is the multiplayer on this game better than COD: WaW and MW

Yeah, I recognized Lance immediately. I was pleasantly surprised at the end that it actually was him and not someone trying to do a "Lance" voice.

And Keith I recognized too, his voice is too unique a one to miss... Sadly I didn't know his name immediately, so that took the credits to rejar the memory bank.

I loved the campaign though, it felt short.. but I liked it better than the first. I guess it was the whole "Nightmare" scenario feel to it, some of the scenes really took my breath away.

played tonite for 4 hrs and I am ranked 20 !!
complete OWNAGE !! one map I had 43-4 LOL !!!!

I love calling the air attacks !
This is so kick ass ! ohh yeaa and when i saw the B2 STEALTH deliver my carpet bombing run for the first time, my jaw droped !
it looked amazing !!

This for me is game of the year !

I haven't read through all 118 pages here, so I don't know if anyone mentioned this already, but did you notice in the very first mission you're supposed to be in Afghanistan? Then when you play it's all palm trees and urban warfare! Clearly, that's supposed to be Iraq, or Infinity Ward just got too lazy to look up the basics.

Just slept for 12 hours, after playing for 28 straight. Haven't done that since I was a little kid.
