Is it just me, or did it feel like Epic didn't have the same energy regarding MP as they did in Gears 2?

The MP on Gears 3 is a much better experience than 2. Its still not perfect but its better.

No, it absolutely is, and I can't quite quantify my feelings with what I said.....I dunno, the MP just got real quiet really fast with this one....

I suspect for me it started off with a lack of a flashback map pack, - I really am missing a lot of those classic Gears 2 maps, lack of cool skins (still no Queen's guard!), etc. I don't say that I prefer Gears 2 MP, cause I don't, but maybe just got myself way, way, way too pumped for this one/ Also felt that the weapons skins were way overpriced, so that kinda left a taste - currently I feel that there are way too many playlists, causing some of them to never have full matches: Warzone, Execution (both of em)....only Team Deathmatch is consistently packed

I've played it a decent amount since it came out. Not all the time since I'm trying to be better about mixing other games in but it seems like there is a fair amount playing. I think some of it may be the people who needed host to be "good" have gone away since there is some dedicated servers out there.

Yeah, its possible. I sure don't miss the days of Gears 2 when I got bumped out of a match, whether it was full or not

Right that always sucked. For me for the most part I'm playing like I know I can play. There isn't one match I'm great and the next I play like crap. You're talking about match type I really prefer TDM so I don't mind it being the most popular.

It was announced today on twitter that with the announcment of a news gears game there will not be anymore DLC for Gears 3.

yeah new gameinformer cover shows a cog in handcuffs being escorted by 2 other cogs. Im guessing maybe its Marcus. Last night on X-Play they said at E3 Epic is going to drop some hints on Gears4 and Monday an official teaser trailer will be released.

Played 4 quick TDM matches last night and had 11 kills stolen by teammates and they weren't by accident

They should really consider changing that for the next one or something. So if you down someone, if a teammate kills him, you still get credit for the kill instead of just some points.

I think they'd still jack peoples kills. They want the kill more then they want the points.

If it wasn't 6000 kills to onyx each gun, people wouldn't be in a rush

If Epic made the rules toward more co-operative play, like you get credit if your team does or something.....cause as long as the rules and achievements are like they are, people aint gonna stop

One of the reasons I don't play Gears all the time though I dig it

Im Actually about to go on gears, after a 4 month break :S, i played it to death from September to feb and it got a little annoying so i took a break..i can definitely see myself doing some raging, and maybe loosing a controller lol

I don't play COD anymore, I stopped after MW2. But I do play Gears a lot. Although I think it's deathmatch multiplayer is rather weak I do love Horde and beast.
Nothing is more fun than a good Horde game with other players willing to stick it out
Best aspect of Gears IMO
Can't wait for Horde 3.0
