Who's doing the paintjob? I couldn't tell if there's a beard sculpted on Jack? Did you get a look at it before it was sent out for painting?

I'd love to see the earrings, are they 1/6?

Jack doesn't have a beard. I think there is a little stubble - I even bought 2 heads and still have one at home, but forgot to look closely at it before I came to work, today.

The earrings aren't 1:6. I make jewelry as a side hobby/business. The beads are moonstone and dyed black agate. I found small black nugget-shaped beads, but I couldn't find white nugget shaped beads that were small enough, so I had to stick with round beads, so they would be the same shape.

Believe me, I've had to make considerations to be able to buy a few muscle bodies. I'm pretty much not buying any new boxed figures and I'm selling off a lot.
But it's worth it since LOST is more significant to me than a lot of the other stuff I collect.

I adjusted the points on the tattoo and got Jack's jeans today.
Boots are temporary.
Also there are about a thousand straps I need to trim off his backpack.
This is natural light, which is fading right now so the colors are a little saturated.

I took a pair off a Royce body. They could be made to fit a regular Truetype but the peg that goes into the shoulder socket is shorter on the muscle arms so you'd need to trim down the socket.

I know that probably doesn't make much sense without looking at it but it can be done. That's what I'm planning on doing for my John Locke's arms, really just for the forearms.

When I get around to customizing it I'll take pics. Maybe you could score a damaged Wolverine or Royce body just to cannibalize for the arms.

Yeah, the forearms are really nice. I need to upgrade my Locke body at some point too.

I REALLY wish Hot Toys would release these 'muscle' bodies on their own...

I haven't, although I picked up a 1/6 necklace from ebay (that came from the Debbie Harry Barbie). I'm going to shrink down the picture (from the Lost auction) of Shannon's necklace, cut out the paper pendant, then try to stick it on top. Does that make sense? If I can pull it off, I'll post a picture...

I could try to make 1/6 jewelry. I have seen (and bought) some pretty cool 1/6 jewelry on ebay.

I know. He's had a head of mine (Indy) for like, 19 months now.

He does good work though. I'm glad I got my Locke done by him at the time (sent him Indy in the same shipment actually).

But there's no shortage of great painters, they're just always busy (save for GDB, who I'm glad has been willing to do all the sculpts I've sent his way, and knocked them all out of the park).

But at one point I contacted Silent Surfer, Boot25 and Small Studios and was turned away by all of them.

Do any of you Lost fans own the Predator Royce Figure?I am considering the whole body for Jack,but afraid it is too big,it's a gamble when the body goes for around 70$.

According to YoNose, Dastan is the way to go. The Royce neck is thicker so you may have a harder time getting the head to fit.
