Why you looking for a bust?....going to repaint it?

Chris

I will consider it if i get one that i'm not happy with but i have seen a few that are much much better then the ones posted on here with the horroible paint issues.

I just want one and then i'll go from there :D

I just got one too...

The finish is so so...

I had another issue with the piece, and I wanted some of the other guys who bought these to chime in and tell me if it is just the one I got or if this is normal: The chest light is so bright, it's hard keeping it on and looking at the statue! Even my wife complained she couldn't see anything for a few minutes after I switched the light on! Also, the eye lights are very faint and there are dark streaks running thru them?

Like many have also said, I frickin love the piece itself!

Hi Howard,

Seems like the paint job is not going to improve with this piece. Not sure a replacement piece will be much better. I totally agree with you--this piece is nice. If only they would have nailed the paint work on this piece. I bet with your skills and connections, you can tackle the repaint and make it a showroom piece.

As for the lights in the chest area, it is bright as heck. And the eyes do have the veritcal streaks running through them. If you look at each eye closely, you can see the individual LEDs, hence the dark streaks.

Turtle, I agree, that is why I edited my earlier comment on here... I think I was little too harsh, the piece is a show stopper! I agree, that nothing will ever be perfect ;)

Totally agreed.I owned alot of Sideshow pieces, there are about 10% of their stuffs are perfect, the rest have some kind of flaw. As long as it doesn't break or damage i am fine with it.

Mine is on the way!!!!!

Thanks to Shane @ SecretCompass... awesome guy/retailer to deal with. ALL of my future retail purchases will be from there.

think its all good if you're based in the US. If you're not local, SS is still the best place to go. :monkey3

Yup, it's BRIGHT.

That's the thing... it's shipping directly from Sideshow with their product guarantee. :D

Yup, if you're in the US. If you're international like me, having any defects on the product will turn the whole thing into a nightmare. :banghead

Congratulations! I ordered one through BBTS, which was supposed to arrive on Monday, but didn't. When I called UPS about it, they said that there was an "indirect delivery." Huh?

When I asked what the heck that meant, they told me that it meant that the package was delivered TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!
