I will. At this point, BBTS put a "tracer" on it, since it sounds like UPS lost it. I can't believe they delivered it to the wrong address! They deliver stuff to my house almost every week. Maybe it was a new driver or something. But I'm pretty sure someone just scored a free Iron Man 1:2.

Wow! I can't imagine being that person finding a 1:2 IM maquette on my door step. In my house it would go, never to see the light of day again.

Congratulations! I ordered one through BBTS, which was supposed to arrive on Monday, but didn't. When I called UPS about it, they said that there was an "indirect delivery." Huh?

When I asked what the heck that meant, they told me that it meant that the package was delivered TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!

It was shipped in 2 boxes (2 HUGE boxes, I assume. A 20 pound box and a 38 pound box). If the guy at the house they delivered it to took it inside his house, then I believe UPS is screwed. I don't think they go knocking on doors demanding people to return packages that were misdelivered. I doubt that's even legal.

yeah, but at the same time, isnt ilegal to take a package that isnt yours? I would imagine you would have to sign for this, so obviously the names wouldnt match up

Yup, it's illegal to keep a package that was not intended for you. But what is UPS supposed to do? I should have mentioned that UPS did not get anyone to sign for this package. They just left it outside someone's apartment. No signature. Smart.

A guy on Youtube just posted a video of his reaction to a mysterious package sitting on his doorstep when he got home. Apparently, it was a 1:2 Iron Man Maquette!!!

The good folks at BBTS have put one in reserve for me. They tell me that it usually takes about 5 days for UPS to do their package search. Sounds to me like they've gone through this before. I guess I'll find out what happens next week.

So are they sending you a new one or is UPS going to go track it down and retrieve it?

They're going to send me a new one if UPS can't find it. They expect UPS to contact them with final word in a few more days.

Yikes, that's happened to me before. UPS delivered my package to the wrong street. They had the house number right but the street completely wrong. Thankfully the person who received the box was kind enough to deliver it. How UPS can mix deliveries up is beyond me.

Anyone think they will announce a 1:2 war machine this year?....maybe soon after the movie is released in May.

If they do...I MAY pick this up and maybe have it repainted.

I am sure were going to get a WM, it would be the logical choice!
I see not reason to spend more money and painting this one. I think I would spend my extra income on more IM statues.
