If its noticeable to you then for sure you have every right to ask for a replacement at this price.

Just got the good news and bad. I will get a replacement, wont arrive until 2nd qtr 2012 Thinking of just returning it, it's a long wait.

^^That's what I was thinking. Plus at the time I requested an exchange Sideshow had them in stock instead of setting one on hold for the exchange they email a way that might fix the crooked mouth "rub paint off of it" are you serious having to rub off paint on a 2k statue. The pics I sent them clearly show its not a paint issue.

Yeah from the sounds of it i would just wash my hands of it....on a 2k dollar piece either im 100% satisfied or i would just assume have the money back. They should do whatever it takes to satisfy you.

Well just got an update SS found a replacement and they will inspect it and if it passes it's coming my way!

Got my replacement and what do you know the mouth is better but now I have a small pit and a rub mark on the faceplate and as a bonus my base looks like it got splattered with silver paint. The base ain't no biggie but can't live with the faceplate like that.

Arggg damage right in the middle of the face of a 2 thousand dollar statue.... i feel your pain since i just hate the hassle of resending stuff especially big stuff like this. But that leaves you no choice

Sure it's very simple.

I added the glue to make it more sturdy. All you really need to do is attach the sides from both units with the fasteners and then add glue.

Mine arrived with a completely broken leg few days ago. Wont get a replacement now, isnt worth the trouble

You might be able to polish out a lot of the damage on his face, and the silver specks on the base looks like it might be the bare polystone showing through. I believe I see scratches.
