Yeah its only taken 5 years to sell out, plus there's still 19 of them left to go at 2K each.

I hear this time around its true. The fact that there are new armor on the horizon means that the run is over for the IM III. Its all pointing to some real cool new LSF.
1:1 Atom, was in fact a strange situation. This was the reason I let it go.
Only time will tell, but demand and supply point to a new direction
I'm thinking they may just keep them both up. If they indeed put out a 1:2 WM or 1:2 IM 3 suit collectors may want to complete the line (a hall of armor if you will) which would actually look really cool displayed if you can imagine it. I know that's exactly the display set up I would go for. It wont cost SS anything to keep the original 1:2 IM in production and build them alongside the new stuff. If anything these new pieces would potentially help sell the remaining 19. Im willing to bet these will just go on "back order" like everything else.

Heck yea it would. At least a 14k investment if they were all produced.
they've closed production on many open ES pieces before, I don't know why it's so hard for some of you guys to wrap your heads around the concept. I have my doubts about Maul and Neytiri too, but there is no point in keeping the Mark III around when they are making one or two for IM 3. There would be very few "completists" for a bunch of 1:2 IM pieces, so it wouldn't be worth it on Sideshows end.

What people don't understand here is , and not any fault of their own since they are not in mass production of statues for Marvel, is that SS never can produce just 5 at a time of these!
When you make an order for a statue the factory needs you to produce at least 50+ of each item.
How do I know this? I produce for SS as some of you may know by now.
So you tell me, why would they want another 50 produced when they still have 16 or so for sale AND they are making a new IM?

I always knew the time would come when this and the BD MARK III bust would sell out. The BD was still on my "to buy" list but I never got around to it (at least I still have the clean version one).

Alex, you can be Gandalf seeing you have the vast knowledge of Iron Man collectibles, Jay can be Boromir because he is probably the richest out of all the fellowship and Jay is super rich, Firebird can be Legolas as every fellowship needs a heartthrob
and I shall be Aragorn, son of Arathorn because like Aragorn, I hate shaving and like to have a lazy beard going on most of the time and because he gets with Liv Tyler at the end Next person joining the fellowship can be Gollum!
