Aww sweet, any pics of that from comic con ?That's awesome! That's like the one they had at comic-con but it was painted up like normal.
I believe you're talking about this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/History-Ho...=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1343938746&sr=1-2
Got them both ages ago, a good read. Like the history of Middle-Earth series.
Thanks FE....didn't know about these. Just ordered a two-book boxed set from US Amazon.
Grabbed the hardcover set myself. Will be interesting to read how it could have been different.
I think you can keep wishing on that one. For all we know the 1/6th statue license covers that scale.
Maybe, but weren't Sideshow and Toybiz both making 1/6 figures at the same time? Or did Sideshow take it from Toybiz?
Thanks FE....didn't know about these. Just ordered a two-book boxed set from US Amazon.
Sideshow got the license after Toy Biz did.
Yeah, for anyone who doesn't like statues at all. I'd get 1:6th figures but I do believe as a whole lotr/the hobbit collectors seem to be more statue collectors.
Let's face it. The 1/6 figures that were available weren't that great. If HT or even Sideshow NOW would do them, they'd be 100% better than what was produced before. Sideshow's clothing was wonderful, but those headsculpts/paintjobs....
