UAJ finally topped 300 million in the U.S.

959 million worldwide.

Yeah, passed it on Monday. It opens in China this Friday and should pass 1 billion after that.

Yeah, passed it on Monday. It opens in China this Friday and should pass 1 billion after that.

China's opening weekend stands at 19 million which is lower than was speculated. It's final number should fall around 40 million so that 1 billion target everyone seems to obsess over will be reached but only just.

The Chinese market is an odd one from what I've come to learn. I guess they just had some fantasy/adventure movie open last weekend that set records. It's a Chinese made movie and it was speculated it might take away from The Hobbits opening.

about time...it shoulda been 1.1 billion..wait till lots see the dvd and say to themselves I shoulda went to the movies...More IMHO will see DoS...waiting for the freakin trailer...I hope that sneak we get from buying the dvd is worth it...I'm sure it is

Yeah, I really think this should have done 1.1 min but I think all the focus on silly stuff like 48fps/trilogy hurt it. Been over that road so no point in going on some more. I think it will be down the road loved as much and people who waited will see it I think and then go to see DoS helping it do even better. I'm sure the sneak peek will be worth it.

I kind of kick myself for only seeing it once, but at least I got to see it in the theatre.

I know. I will be watching it early though because of the digital that came with my PO of the disc. I also have a copy for my itunes collection. So sometime next week I'll be watching it again.

Nope its close now.

It shouldn't be too long after the US release. I want to say I heard it was maybe even the next week but I don't know that for sure.
