Ask and you shall recieve. Here is an article we just ran on TORn with a few details of what someone saw on a flgiht to NZ.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey EE Details

It's a shame he can't remember everything.

I'm hoping the Narsil scene from the teaser makes it in.

I hear that. I like reading all the juicy stuff. :lol

I believe what I saw else where that scene is in the movie.

Yeah, I love those documentary features. The ones with The Lord of the Rings were some of the best I've ever seen.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

The EE is up on ITunes if you want to download it now.

^That is awesome. :D

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

Really looking forward to the extended scenes. Some of them are quite intriguing.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

Going to watch it tonight. :rock From what it looks like this will like LOTR be a better version of something already pretty cool.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

Watched the EE. I loved all the added stuff. It really made a fantastic movie even more so. Tons of great added material for 13 mins of stuff. I would say the best stuff is the material added to the Hobbiton time frame and Rivendell.

Yeah, I loved the extra Hobbiton stuff, and the stuff in Rivendell was awesome. It's a shame that stuff had to get cut.

I thought some of the edits with the new stuff with the Goblin King were kind of awkward.

Yeah, those would have been great to see last December.

I liked the new Goblin King song. It's reminds me of the song from the book. It's not exact obviously but it reminds me of it. Part of it might even come from the 1977 Hobbit animated movie. The song Bofur sings is from FOTR and I believe sung by Frodo but it's changed just a bit.

Really looking forward to this, too, but a bit disappointed that there is not a sort of ROTK Mouth of Sauron additional scene. Was really hoping for more info on Sauron and his machinations, along with the Witch King. Still, more Middle Earth on screen is a good unto itself.

The stuff in Rivendell is pretty darn good. I think lots of folks will enjoy what was added.

Oh yeah, definitely. I was very close to buying the regular edition soon after it came out but waited once I heard about the EE. No question I'm hyped to see the extra footage, but I especially look forward to any additional scenes with Sauron and his minions. Despite everything we know he's still quite mysterious.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

There is some mention of Sauron, The One Ring, and the 7 Dwarven Rings in the EE. You also get a great scene with Narsil and you see the painting of Sauron again.

Cool, thanks for that, Josh. Can't wait to see it and especially as these films progress, I expect we will get quite a bit of background fleshed out.

No problem. :duff I think there will be some cool stuff in regards to the Necromancer/Sauron storyline done.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

The Goblin King's song is dreadful. Should've never been resurrected for the EE. All the rest was neat!
