I'm thinking that PJ is gonna throw in the Army of the Dead at the end and make it The Battle of Six Armies.

It would be so cool if he joined up with bilbo after the rivendell scene for the rest of the movie(s)

1 Hobbit and 13 Dwarves. Period.

Sorry my bad, I bet they replace Bard the Bowman with legolas though.

Hasn't Bard been cast already? Otherwise I do expect character consolidation like this.

It's official: Benedict Cumberbatch is the voice of Smaug as well as doing the motion capture:

I honestly can't imagine a better choice. The casting for this movie so far has been just exactly what I would have chosen. But how awesome is it that both Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson are going to be in this?

Luke Evans will be playing Bard the Bowman. I'm not really familiar with him, but apparently he was in Clash of the Titans and Robin Hood, and will be seen in The Three Musketeers and Immortals.
