I read that theres alot of anger from several people towards Cody Diablo, about possible plagerism over a Korean Movie entitled 'Juno'.

The plot centers around the relationship of a 15-year-old couple, Jenny (Park Min-ji) and Juno (Kim Hye-sung), who meet in school. When Jenny discovers that she is pregnant, she and Juno decide against having an abortion, opting for parenthood instead. They try to conceal the pregnancy from their families for as long as possible, but the truth is revealed eventually, and their parents do not approve.

I'm not too sure, never saw that Korean movie, but the basic plot of the story is the same.

TOM TOUCH-UP: Tom Hanks got a bit of powder from a makeup artist in the view of backstage photographers.

"Boys, get a picture of this. It's so masculine," he said, adding in nasally voice: "Oh look, Hanks is getting his face powdered at the Academy Awards. He stormed Normandy Beach in 'Saving Private Ryan.'"

Aside from being about teen pregnancy, that synopsis sounds nothing like Juno. If I was a plagirist the first thing I'd do would be to change all the names. Sounds like someone trying to get an undeserved payday to me.

Just checked out the Favorite Moments poll on imdb and there's a couple i didnt really understand (maybe i missed something). Anyone know what they mean?

"Diablo Cody rocking her Betty Rubble dress -- and inadvertently brushing off Harrison Ford"

"Jessica Alba channeling Drew Barrymore"

"No Country for Old Men producer Scott Rudin not throwing his Oscar at his assistant"

I voted for this one:D

"Jon Stewart's classy move to bring out Once's Markéta Irglová to give her acceptance speech"

Huh, I didn't see her diss poor Indy. It must have been his earning :chew:chew Sure she didn't do it on purpose, he's Han Solo.

I agree with that 100%. The only similarity I see is the name Juno and the topic of teenage pregnancy; nothing else remotely similar.

I'm also 100% sure that the Korean 'Juno' did not have the great dialogue, amazing cast and overall heartwarming feeling you got from watching the Cody Juno.

Diablo, who was wearing a leopard skin print reminiscent of the Flintstones, was crying after accepting her award and it looked like Harrison tried to say something to her, but she walked on ahead.

Jessica Alba - no idea what they meant by that.

Scott Rudin is notorious for going through assistants like water. He's an impossible boss and has been known to throw things at his assistants.

Thanks Dave.

I'm sure Diablo didn't do it on purpose. She was propably just really embaressed or something.

I guess everybody missed something in that Alba bid.

I wonder if Scott Rubin is related to Michael Bay:D
