Alien with heels was already done years ago...

So why not? It's not like the PREDATOR franchise wasn't raeped enough.

A lot of people or 'fans' seem to only think that the only look for Predator should be restricted to first 2 Predator films. They're a race of Aliens, who have hunting as a main part of their culture, they're not clones of each other and much like the different races we have here on earth, it would be selfish to think that all of them wear loin cloth, can't wear pants and have no individuality.

Working with humans? That's actually a major theme with AVP comics and happens a lot. Sure, lots of dead humans at Pred hands too, but most Predator are really honourable hunters that only kill/hunt worthy/armed prey and not psychotic serial killers (sure there are a number of them).

And..most seem to forget the very first Aliens versus Predator Graphic Novel by Dark Horse comics that started it all.. was about Broken Tusk/Dachande working with Machiko Noguchi, a Human, Japanese Female, to stop an Alien Queen and her swarm from overrunning Ryushi. Which I really believe should have been the story behind the AVP franchise.

I have always wished they used that first 4 issue AVP comic series as the storyline for the AVP movie. As a fan of both genres from their respective first films, I have always viewed the whole AvP thing as a one off fan-wish, fan service dark horse did. After that initial comic I've not followed any of the subsequent AvP comics. For what it was, the first AVP movie was tolerable, but AVPR was just utter garbage.

Besides now with what RS is doing with Alien, its origin etc..., it's making the whole Predator angle on the franchise moot.

Yes I liked Wolf predator but he was the only redeeming aspect of that turd of a movie. If Fox is itching to 'reboot' the AVP series, they should do that first comic story. I surmised that logistically it would have been cost prohibitive to make it, but now with CGI and all that, I think it's easily doable. I am growing tired of this constant franchise/universe building every movie seems to be geared towards now. Just make a QUALITY film, nothing wrong with having a great, quintessential stand alone movie, which the first Predator is and was.

when does that come out for pre-order!

So this is Shane's 'Aliens' -- he's made Predator a 'cowboys and Indians' war-game for kiddies ...

This movie has much more in common with AvP than it does a Predator movie.
