some of you are going nuts over a predator wearing cargo pants and tactical gear.
Well why in the hell did it wear a loincloth in the original? I doubt thats the way they dress back in their planet. They are smart creatures, they do whatever they want, whatever they see fit and they can do anything for no reasons if they ever feel like doing so. The jungle hunter probably wore a loincloth because thats what tribal/indigenous hunters on earth wear on a regular basis. The jungle hunter did its research and wore it just because it wanted to, because why not? This time a predator is seen wearing cargo pants and tactical gear and there's really no problem with that. It knows what its doing, it can do whatever it wants. Its teaming up with the army guys so just for the sake of fitting in it decides to wear cargo pants and tactical gear. Im serious, its no big deal.

A lot of people or 'fans' seem to only think that the only look for Predator should be restricted to first 2 Predator films. They're a race of Aliens, who have hunting as a main part of their culture, they're not clones of each other and much like the different races we have here on earth, it would be selfish to think that all of them wear loin cloth, can't wear pants and have no individuality.

Working with humans? That's actually a major theme with AVP comics and happens a lot. Sure, lots of dead humans at Pred hands too, but most Predator are really honourable hunters that only kill/hunt worthy/armed prey and not psychotic serial killers (sure there are a number of them).

And..most seem to forget the very first Aliens versus Predator Graphic Novel by Dark Horse comics that started it all.. was about Broken Tusk/Dachande working with Machiko Noguchi, a Human, Japanese Female, to stop an Alien Queen and her swarm from overrunning Ryushi. Which I really believe should have been the story behind the AVP franchise.

You're contradictin' yourself.
Nothin' in original two films says that they're a race of hunters.

Just adjust to the fact that they're reptile/amphibian.
They wouldn't wear pants or shirt because it goes against their nature (skin as secondary respiratory surface), not because they're barbaric.

For sure. They are both alien creatures. Both have different mythos/backgrounds. My point is that Predators wearing cargo pants doesn't make sense. Also a Predator helping drive a tank or whatever doesn't make sense. Even if the plot involves some.kind of team up, the Predator would not rely on our technology. They would have ships and who knows what else. They certainly would not need to drive around in a tank. If they did a team up, they would rely on their on their own knowledge sand means of technology/weaponry.

Do you have some plot info that you shared that I might have missed?

Those 2 predators are defectors and are part of an Earth defense force in Area 51 then they help a group of ex-marines to defeat the new cyborg Predator from getting to some artifact the woman scientist got from a dead predator.

Look I agree with you it's just stupid I certainly don't want it to go in this direction BUT since they are intelligent beings they can be made to wear dresses and drive human made vehicles.

We might even see a Predator use a lawn mower.
