I think it’d be cool if there were a film in which the Predator travelled through a wormhole into a dystopian future where Human technology surpassed that of the Predators, and, suddenly, you flip the script so that the alien badass is struggling for survival in a badass Blade Runner-esque world where he is now the Prey.

this is the second time you write an idea and i really like it. that would be amazing. blade runner but predator is hiding, that could be really cool. and it would keep guys like gaspar happy because it wouldn't go into the background of the predator....

im serious that i really like this idea. specially if the predator has to use his intelligence and if he cant detonate his bomb explosive.
Even the actor playing predator wished there was a movie where the predator didnt have his technology and he had to escape from harm, that would play perfect with your idea.

Alternatively: what if you flipped that idea on its head, and had a story from hundreds of years ago, where a Predator landed in Norway or Feudal Japan or in Canada, even and went head to head with Vikings or Samurai or French Fur Traders? His technology could actually put him at a disadvantage because these primal humans were simply more intuitive, better hunters out of necessity, and they were far more formidable than their contemporary counterparts. I mean, it bears mentioning that, for all the explosives and commandos with modern weapons, the way Arnold beat him was with mud and a log, so, there’s a precedent that they could withstand his technological advantages in the past.

it is as best as a fan made project can be. Predator looks really great (for a fan film) they actually did extremely impressive job with the costumes for the humans and the setting.

The youtube movie is the same as the blu ray. (Last i heard they were getting money together to film a predator movie with pirates and the sea next)

All of this sounds amazing. And Predator + Pirates is just insane.

I do have an open mind about the movie, that’s why I’m in this thread. I’m not here to bash it. All I’m saying is I can already tell from the synopsis and this pic that the kid is just the plot device to this movie and it it’s already feeling so contrived.

A kid with autism messes with something that causes this Predator mess, but he’ll be the one to figure their language out because his autism helps him understand it? Plus, the cast photos just look like a bunch of bozo’s

But whatever, I’m just here to see Shane Black do the Predator House Party Protocol and see some cool Predator action scenes. And possibly pick up a Hot Toy or two.

Figures. The biomask kinda looks interesting, but the design otherwise reeks of AVP and Mehators. It's going to have to wait until later for me to be able to watch it.
